00:00So let me be clear. But first, I just want to very quickly respond, and then I'll answer your question.
00:03I just want to quickly respond to these accusations that I'm parroting MAGA talking points, which I don't appreciate that
00:06accusation.
00:07A CBS poll yesterday found that 85% of Republicans support President Trump's strikes on Iran.
00:11A Fox News poll found that 84% of Republicans support President Trump's attacks on Iran.
00:15A Washington Post poll found that 81% of Republicans support President Trump's attacks on Iran.
00:18Reuters found that 82% are Republicans.
00:20So again, if you want to have this talking point of like MAGA is playing, young people aren't into it,
00:24then you have to cite correct,
00:26which is why your accusation that there's a split in MAGA is simply not true.
00:29So if you want to say there's a split in MAGA—
00:30I was saying the MAGA base—no, no, you just didn't understand.
00:33Hang on, hang on, hang on. Let me explain it to you.
00:34The MAGA base is going to say whatever talking points Trump says, right?
00:38You are part of the MAGA base. That was your PR campaign.
00:42You sucked up about the Harvard thing, and you went to give all these speeches, and now you're a MAGA
00:47talking head.
00:48But the rest of the Republican Party, those independent voters, right?
00:51It's the voters. It's not the party. It's the voters that I'm talking about who voted for Trump.
00:56So here's what you're not going to do, and if you do it again, I'm leaving.
00:59You're not going to interrupt. I listen to you, and you listen to me.
01:01That's what being a Democrat is all about.
01:02You might have to leave.
01:02You don't have the intellectual—
01:03You might have to leave. That's how the show works.
01:05Okay, Kaivan. Okay, Kaivan. Let's let Shabos make his point, and then we'll come back to you.
01:09Okay.
01:10If you don't have the intellectual capabilities or the emotional maturity, that's fine, and then—
01:15Okay. Respectfully, gentlemen, please. Let's play nice.
01:18Well, I am being respectful. I will patiently listen, and then I will respond, but evidently people can't do it.
01:23In terms of the goals of the war, and this is what I want to be super clear about, there
01:26are multiple goals.
01:27Number one is ending Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons.
01:29That was started under the 12-day operation of the Midnight Hammer, and it continues today.
01:33Halting the expansion of Iran's ballistic missile arsenal.
01:35Preventing development of longer-range missile systems capable of reaching the United States,
01:39which is what the Ayatollah repeatedly suggested he wanted to do.
01:42Neutralizing threats to close—Iranians' threats of closing the Strait of Hormuz.
01:46Degrading the networks responsible for killing Americans.
01:49Ending the ability of the terror regime to fund its proxies, like Hamas, like Hezbollah, like the Houthis.
01:54So when we talk about the goals of the war, I think they're relatively evident and they're relatively obvious,
01:58simply because Caroline Leavitt, Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, J.D. Vance, Donald Trump,
02:02they keep repeating it over and over again. These are our explicit goals.
02:05Now, we can talk about what is the day after, and I would agree with you.
02:07We do not want to be involved in this. We do not want it to be a quagmire.
02:11But people have to remember, Donald Trump ran in 2015 and 2016 as opposing the Iraq War.
02:16Now, whether that was accurate or whether he actually opposed the war in Iraq in 2003, that's debatable.
02:19But this is not someone who wants interventionism. This is not someone who wants boots on the ground.
02:24This is someone who wants quick and decisive military action, and we are already seeing that.
02:28I mean, I made a joke last night that I currently own more boats than the entire Iranian naval fleet,
02:33which is true because I happen to own one boat, and they currently own zero.
02:36That is because we have destroyed their entire naval fleet.
02:39We have destroyed, or I shouldn't say we've destroyed, we have killed their ayatollah.
02:42We have killed the second in command. We killed the top 40 IRGC commanders.
02:46We have air superiority in less than three days.
02:48This is a remarkable achievement, and it shows the dominance of the American military
02:52and, of course, the complete collaboration vindication of the U.S.-Israel relationship.
02:56So do we want boots on the ground? Absolutely not.
02:59Do we want a long, protracted conflict? Absolutely not.
03:01You know who else doesn't want that? Donald Trump. He keeps saying it every day.
