00:00:00Foreign Minister of Iran, Abbas Arachi has said that Iranian soldiers are currently waiting for US ground troops to invade
00:00:07Iran, saying, the Iranians are prepared for any scenario, according to Arachi, Iran is confident that its soldiers can confront
00:00:15US ground troops and if the United States actually decided to begin ground troops invasion in Iran, it will be
00:00:23a disaster for the US because, we know we can handle them.
00:00:26Adding, Russia and China are supporting Iran in the ongoing war with the US and Israel politically and otherwise, and
00:00:34shortly after the Iran Foreign Minister made this known in an exclusive interview with NBC News Media on Thursday, the
00:00:41US Secretary of War, Pete Hexas visited the US Central Command, CENTCOM headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa
00:00:49area of Florida apparently for a high-level briefing and next plan of action discussed with the CENTCOM commander,
00:00:55Admiral Brad Cooper, this, local media in Iran reported on Friday morning that the spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guards
00:01:05Corps, IRGC, Brigadier General Ali Muhammad Naimi says the Iranian armed forces are ready for a long war to punish
00:01:13the aggressor.
00:01:14The war which began last week Saturday, has led to the deaths of over 1,300 people in Iran, 12
00:01:21in Israel and 6 US soldiers.
00:01:24According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society on March 6, 2026, over 1,332 people have been killed in Iran
00:01:33since the start of the war on February 28, 2026.
00:01:38Hengor Organization for Human Rights in an earlier report in the conflict on March 2, the Norway-based NGO stated
00:01:46that at least 1,500 deaths, specifically identifying 1,300 Iranian military members and 200 civilians among the fallen.
00:01:56While the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, UNICEF confirmed that, of the more than 1,300 total fatalities, at
00:02:06least 181 are children.
00:02:08This includes approximately 175 children killed in a single strike at a girls' primary school in the Manab area of
00:02:17Iran.
00:02:17Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, the official Iranian government agency reported a death toll of at least 1,230
00:02:26as of March 5.
00:02:28On the side of Israel, Magen David Adem, MDA, Israel's National Emergency Medical Service, confirmed nine fatalities specifically from a
00:02:38direct ballistic missile hit on a public shelter in Beit Shemesh on March 1.
00:02:43The Israeli police in an official police report identified nine killed in Beit Shemesh and have noted that 11 people
00:02:50remain missing as search and rescue operations continued.
00:02:54Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv confirmed the death of a 102-year-old man who died from a fall while
00:03:01attempting to reach a shelter during a siren.
00:03:04Although 10 deaths were confirmed by the Israeli authorities as stated above, but, some local and international media put the
00:03:12total deaths in Israel at 12.
00:03:14According to the U.S. Department of War and SENTCOM, six American service members have been killed so far with
00:03:2118 other soldiers wounded.
00:03:22Those killed included Sgt. Declan J. Cody, aged 20, Captain Cody A. Cork, aged 35, Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M.
00:03:33Amor, aged 39, Sgt. 1st Class Noah Teichens, aged 42, Major Jeffrey O'Brien, aged 45 and Chief Warrant Officer
00:03:433, C.W. 3 Robert M. Marson, aged 54.
00:03:47All six soldiers were said to be assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines, Iowa, and died
00:03:55following an Iranian drone attack on a tactical operations center at Portschweiber, Kuwait, on March 1, 2026.
00:04:03U.S. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth stated that the casualties primarily occurred when a projectile breached air defenses and
00:04:11struck a tactical operations center at a military base in Kuwait.
00:04:15The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC has provided much higher figures, which U.S. officials have dismissed as propaganda.
00:04:25IRGC spokesperson, Brigadier General Ali Mohamed Niani claimed that 650 American soldiers were killed or wounded during the first two
00:04:36days of the conflict.
00:04:37Niani alleged that 160 of these casualties resulted from strikes on the U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet Headquarters in Bahrain.
00:04:46Iran also claimed to have struck the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier with four cruise missiles.
00:04:53Saying the warship was forced to flee towards the Indian Ocean.
00:04:57He warned on state TV that, the gates of hell will open more and more, for the U.S. and
00:05:03Israel, promising continuous, punitive attacks.
00:05:07He announced that Iran is prepared for a, prolonged war, and will soon deploy advanced, strategic weaponry, and innovations that
00:05:15have not yet been used on a large scale.
00:05:17The U.S. sent come in numbers of posts stated that, the Iranian regime is using mobile launchers to indiscriminately
00:05:25fire missiles in an attempt to inflict maximum harm across the region.
00:05:29U.S. forces are hunting these threats down and without apology or hesitation, we are taking them out.
00:05:35Iran's IRGC claims to have struck USS Abraham Lincoln with ballistic missiles.
00:05:42Lie, the Lincoln was not hit.
00:05:45The missile's launch didn't even come close.
00:05:48The Lincoln continues to launch aircraft in support of CENTCOM's relentless campaign to defend the American people by eliminating threats
00:05:56from the Iranian regime.
00:05:58The Iranian regime's false messaging machine continues to falsely claim that it has sunk a U.S. aircraft carrier.
00:06:04The only carrier that has been hit is the Shahid Bahri, an Iranian drone carrier.
00:06:11U.S. forces struck the ship within hours of launching Operation Epic Fury.
00:06:16Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing.
00:06:20During a U.N. Security Council meeting yesterday, the Iranian ambassador to the U.N. stated their response has been
00:06:28directed solely and exclusively at the bases and assets of the United States.
00:06:32Lie, the Iranian regime is actively targeting civilians and has attacked more than a dozen locations including
00:06:39Dubai International Airport, Kuwait International Airport, Zaid International Airport, Dubai, Airball International Airport, Iraq, Fairmont Palm Hotel, Dubai, Burj Al
00:06:53Arab Hotel, Dubai, Crown Plaza Hotel, Bahrain, Port of Dubai.
00:07:11When NBC presenter asked the Iranian foreign minister, Abbas Arachi, are you afraid of a U.S. invasion in your
00:07:19country?
00:07:20Arachi replied and said, no, we are waiting for them.
00:07:24Arachi explicitly stated that Iran is, not asking for a ceasefire, or the continuation of the war by waiting for
00:07:32the U.S. ground troops invasion,
00:07:34and while saying Iran sees no reason to negotiate with the U.S. at this time,
00:07:39he also said that Iran now has more quality resources based on lessons learned from previous war, adding, Iranian soldiers
00:07:46can handle U.S. ground troops.
00:07:49Reiterating, Iran is, waiting, for a potential U.S. ground invasion, characterizing such an offensive as a, big disaster, for
00:07:58American troops.
00:08:00Arachi had earlier labeled a recent U.S. strike on an, unarmed, Iranian Navy training shipper, war crime.
00:08:07Arachi accused President Donald Trump of, betraying diplomacy, by treating complex nuclear negotiations like a, real estate transaction.
00:08:16He claimed there is, clear evidence, that U.S. forces are actively cooperating with Israel in recent attacks on Iranian
00:08:24soil.
00:08:25He cautioned that a full military conflict would be, disastrous for the entire region, due to the presence of U
00:08:32.S. military bases across the Middle East.
00:08:35China and Russia are supporting Iran primarily through high-level diplomatic protection and critical military technology,
00:08:42though they have notably refrained from direct military intervention during the current conflict.
00:08:47Both nations requested an emergency session of the, U.N. Security Council to address recent U.S. and Israeli strikes.
00:08:56China and Russia have officially labeled the attacks, grave violations, of Iranian sovereignty and, war crimes.
00:09:03Russia has publicly stated there is, no evidence, of Iran seeking a nuclear bomb, countering Western justifications for the strikes.
00:09:13They continue to legitimize the Iranian government by deepening its roles in BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, SCO.
00:09:21Reports indicated that Russia has begun delivering Su-35 fighter jets and S-400 air defense components to help Iran
00:09:30detect stealth aircraft like the F-35.
00:09:33China has transitioned Iran's military from U.S. GPS to its own BEIDOU-3 navigation system, which provides jam-resistant,
00:09:43high-precision targeting for Iranian missiles.
00:09:46Both allies share real-time satellite imagery and signals intelligence, SIGINT to help Tehran monitor U.S. and Israeli troop
00:09:55movements.
00:09:56Before the new war started, it could be recalled that in late February 2026, the three nations conducted the, Maritime
00:10:04Security Belt 2026,
00:10:07naval drills in the Strait of Hormuz to demonstrate strategic alignment.
00:10:11Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported on Thursday that top Iranian official Ali Larijani has stressed that his country is prepared to
00:10:19confront a possible invasion from the United States,
00:10:22pledging to capture and kill U.S. troops if they enter the country.
00:10:27Thursday's statement comes as U.S. officials, including President Donald Trump, refuse to rule out deploying forces inside Iran.
00:10:35Larijani, who serves as the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, warned that such actions would have
00:10:43dire consequences.
00:10:44Some American officials have stated that they intend to enter Iranian territory on the ground with several thousand troops, Larijani
00:10:52said in a statement.
00:10:54He then added a pointed reference to Iran's former supreme leaders, Rehola Khomeini and Ali Khamenei,
00:11:00the latter of whom was killed on Saturday in a joint U.S.-Israeli strike.
00:11:05The valiant sons of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei are waiting for you, ready to disgrace those corrupt American officials
00:11:12by killing and capturing thousands, he said.
00:11:16Larijani, who was a close advisor to the assassinated supreme leader, is believed to be one of the most powerful
00:11:22figures in Iran.
00:11:23An apparent pro-U.S. government Facebook user with the account handle, Donald Trump for president,
00:11:30clarifies issues related to some U.S. pilots seen during ejecting from their fighter jets for safety in Kuwait.
00:11:37According to the Facebook user in numbers of posts in one of which titled,
00:11:42Kuwaiti rushes to aid down female American pilot, thank you for helping us.
00:11:47In the desert heat of Operation Epic Fury, a female USF-15E strike Eagle pilot ejected safely after her jet
00:11:55was tragically downed by friendly fire from Kuwaiti air defenses.
00:11:59As she touched down in the sand at sunset, a local Kuwaiti man sprinted across the dunes to reach her
00:12:06first, beating everyone else to the scene.
00:12:09Are you fine? You are safe. Thank you for helping us, the man told her, his voice carrying gratitude for
00:12:16America's role in regional security.
00:12:18CENTCOM confirmed all six American aircrew, three F-15S total, ejected safely, were recovered within hours, and are in stable
00:12:28condition.
00:12:29Kuwait has acknowledged the error amid the confusion of Iranian missiles and drone barrages.
00:12:35The moment highlights the human side of coalition warfare, a civilian rushing to assist a foreign pilot in distress,
00:12:42underscoring the complexity of modern military operations and the bonds between partner nations.
00:12:48God bless the service members who risk their lives in dangerous missions, and the civilians who step forward to help
00:12:55when it matters most.
00:12:56On March 2, 2026, three US Air Force F-15E strike Eagles were accidentally shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses
00:13:06during
00:13:06high-intensity operations against Iranian targets under Operation Epic Fury.
00:13:11All six pilots ejected safely and were recovered within hours by coalition forces in stable condition.
00:13:19No local civilian assistance was needed. Each pilot carried the standard blood chit, a small, rugged fabric patch sewn into
00:13:27flight gear with a clear multilingual plea.
00:13:29I am an American and I do not speak your language. I will do you no harm. Please give me
00:13:36food, water, shelter, clothing, and a doctor.
00:13:40Help me reach American or friendly forces. When you provide my name and this number to US authorities, you will
00:13:48be rewarded.
00:13:49Printed in English, Arabic, Turkish, Persian, and Kurdish, the blood chit is a proven World War II-era survival measure
00:13:58that promises cash rewards for aid.
00:14:00In this case, thanks to rapid US-Kuwaiti coordination, the chits remained in the pilot's gear, unnecessary but ready.
00:14:08The incident reminds us that even among close allies, the fog of war can strike hard. Yet swift recovery and
00:14:16strong coalition response kept American airmen safe and mission focus intact.
00:14:21The fog of war nearly led to a tragedy in the Al Jara area of Kuwait today, but a viral
00:14:27video is showing the world how quickly a, violent, situation turned into a heroic rescue.
00:14:33After three USF-15E strike eagles were mistakenly downed by Kuwaiti air defenses in a, friendly fire, incident, one of
00:14:43our pilots found himself surrounded by a group of intense, shouting locals.
00:14:48In the heat of Operation Epic Fury, tensions are at a breaking point across the Gulf.
00:14:53When the jet spiraled down in flames, locals rush to the scene, witnesses, including Ahmed al-Assar, initially thought the
00:15:02parachuting airman was an Iranian pilot from the regime that has been launching, reckless, strikes across the region.
00:15:09The footage shows a crowd closing in, shouting in Arabic, as the pilot, clutching his equipment, desperately identifies himself, American.
00:15:19American, over here, the second the crowd realized he was an American ally, the energy shifted instantly.
00:15:27You can hear the locals shouting, Kalas, Kalas, stop, stop, to hold back the more aggressive members and begin the
00:15:35rescue.
00:15:36What started as a confrontation ended with the pilot being shielded and comforted by the very people he's in the
00:15:42region to protect.
00:15:44The pilot was given shelter in a vehicle and checked for injuries.
00:15:48One local can be heard reassuring him in English, how you feeling?
00:15:53It's okay, brother, come.
00:15:55Despite the, friendly fire, error, caused by the chaos of a massive Iranian drone and missile swarm.
00:16:02Kuwait has acknowledged the mistake and is working, hand in hand, with the Trump-X-15 to ensure it doesn't
00:16:09happen again.
00:16:10...boots on the ground in Iran.
00:16:12Are you afraid of a U.S. invasion in your country?
00:16:16No, we are waiting for them.
00:16:19You are waiting for the U.S. military to invade the ground troops?
00:16:24Yes.
00:16:25Because we are confident that we can confront them, and that would be a big disaster for them.
00:16:33So you're saying that Iran is ready and willing to take on the U.S. military if there were to
00:16:38be ground troops?
00:16:39Well, we were ready for this war, even more than the previous war.
00:16:45So you can see, you know, the quality of our missiles, how much they are upgraded after the last war,
00:16:52because we learned lots of lessons.
00:16:53And we are prepared for any other eventuality, even, you know, a ground invasion.
00:16:59So our soldiers are prepared for any scenario.
00:17:03When I said we are waiting for them, it didn't mean that we are waiting for continuation of the war.
00:17:09No.
00:17:09But we have prepared ourselves to confront with any scenario, with any eventuality, any possibility, and we know that we
00:17:17can handle that.
00:17:18Are your allies Russia and China helping you?
00:17:23Well, they are supporting us politically and otherwise.
00:17:33Well, most of the people we had in mind are dead.
00:17:35So, you know, we had some in mind from that group that is dead.
00:17:41And now we have another group, they may be dead also, based on reports.
00:17:47So I guess you have a third wave coming in.
00:17:49Pretty sure we're not going to know anybody.
00:17:51The Iranian Air Force is no more.
00:17:53Built for 1996, destroyed in 2026.
00:17:58The Iranian Navy rests at the bottom of the Persian Gulf.
00:18:03Combat ineffective, decimated, destroyed, defeated.
00:18:07Pick your adjective.
00:18:08In fact, last night, we sunk their prized ship, the Soleimani.
00:18:14Looks like POTUS got him twice.
00:18:18Their Navy, not a factor.
00:18:19Pick your adjective.
00:18:20It is no more.
00:18:22In fact, yesterday, in the Indian Ocean, and we'll play it on the screen there, an American submarine sunk an
00:18:30Iranian warship that thought it was safe in international waters.
00:18:35Instead, it was sunk by a torpedo.
00:18:38A quiet death.
00:18:40The first sinking of an enemy ship by a torpedo since World War II.
00:18:44Starting last night, and to be completed in a few days, in under a week,
00:18:49the two most powerful air forces in the world will have complete control of Iranian skies, uncontested airspace.
00:18:57I hope all the folks watching understand what uncontested airspace and complete control means.
00:19:05It means we will fly all day, all night, day and night, finding, fixing, and finishing the missiles and defense
00:19:14industrial base of the Iranian military.
00:19:16Finding and fixing their leaders and their military leaders, flying over Tehran, flying over Iran, flying over their capital, flying
00:19:27over the IRGC.
00:19:29Iranian leaders looking up and seeing only U.S. and Israeli air power every minute of every day until we
00:19:41decide it's over.
00:19:42Iran, and Iran will be able to do nothing about it.
00:19:47B-2s, B-52s, B-1s, Predator drones, fighters, controlling the skies, picking targets.
00:19:54Death and destruction from the sky all day long.
00:20:00We're playing for keeps.
00:20:02Our warfighters have maximum authorities granted personally by the president and yours, too.
00:20:07Our rules of engagement are bold, precise, and designed to unleash American power, not shackle it.
00:20:15This was never meant to be a fair fight.
00:20:19And it is not a fair fight.
00:20:21We are punching them while they're down, which is exactly how it should be.
00:20:28Thus far, Operation Epic Fury has delivered twice the air power of shock and awe of Iraq in 2003, minus
00:20:36Paul Bremer and the nation building.
00:20:39The campaign has seven times the intensity of Israel's previous operations against Iran during the 12-day war.
00:20:46Seven times.
00:20:48And as President Trump said, more and larger waves are coming.
00:20:52We are just getting started.
00:20:55We are accelerating, not decelerating.
00:20:58Iran's capabilities are evaporating by the hour, while American strength grows fiercer, smarter, and utterly dominant.
00:21:04More bombers and more fighters are arriving just today.
00:21:08Of course, I have to walk on the door, bringing you the news in a more digital way.
00:21:13United States President Donald Trump in a nationwide broadcast issued a few hours ago over the joint Israel-U.S.
00:21:22military actions in the sovereign nation of Iran,
00:21:24has said that many Iranian soldiers are willing to surrender in order to save their lives.
00:21:29But the offensive U.S.-Israel military war or combat on Iran continued.
00:21:34Saying the joint military operations codenamed Operation Epic Fury has destroyed hundreds of Iranian targets since the military action began
00:21:43on February 28, 2026,
00:21:46including the killing of the Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei,
00:21:51and the new joint war against Iran has resulted to the killing of more than 200 Iranian civilians and military
00:21:58personnel,
00:21:59with thousands of people injured, while over 12 persons have been killed so far in Israel with estimated 500 people
00:22:07sustaining injuries
00:22:08and the war has forced Iran to launch counterattacks on U.S. military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the
00:22:16United Arab Emirates, UAE.
00:22:18This Iran foreign minister, Abbas Arachi had said Iran will not surrender, stating that, despite the massive airstrikes on Tehran,
00:22:27Iran's military capability remains intact, adding, Iran was able to retaliate faster than it did in the 2025-12-day
00:22:36war,
00:22:37and that its, Mosaic defense, doctrine makes it resilient to infrastructure damage.
00:22:42Arachi called the killing of Khamenei, absolutely unprecedented and a major violation of international law,
00:22:49warning it had made the conflict, even more dangerous and more complicated,
00:22:54saying, Khamenei was not only Iran's political leader, but, a high-ranking religious leader for millions of Muslims,
00:23:01even outside of Iran, across the region, pointing to protests that had erupted in Iraq, Pakistan and elsewhere where the
00:23:09leader had followers.
00:23:10In line with this, Al Jazeera news media also reported some minutes ago that Iranian missiles have been seen over
00:23:18Tel Aviv and the occupied West Bank,
00:23:20reportedly breaking through Israel's defense system, with Iran saying it is targeting Israeli military facilities.
00:23:27In the six-minute nationwide video broadcast, President Donald Trump called on members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards
00:23:35to surrender their weapons or face certain deaths, saying,
00:23:40the death of the three American soldiers killed in action will be avenged by taking more punishing actions against the
00:23:46enemies.
00:23:47President Donald Trump said there will likely be additional American deaths during the combat mission in Iran,
00:23:53which he said would continue until the U.S. achieves its objectives.
00:23:58Combat operations continue at this time, in full force, and they will continue until all of our objectives are achieved.

00:27:30Ayatollah Ali Khamenei,
00:27:32a lucky soul,
00:27:33he died in jihad against killers of innocent children and women in Gaza and elsewhere.
00:27:38His blood will fuel the change in the Ummah.
00:27:41He stood firmly for justice and did not hide in bunkers.
00:27:44For those who killed him or assisted in killing him,
00:27:48let us see what they will live to do in this world.

00:27:57With the martyrdom of the supreme leader,
00:27:59his path and mission neither will be lost nor will be forgotten.

00:28:36and the UAE.
00:28:38Over 200 people have been reported killed in Iran,
00:28:42with a single strike on a school in southern Iran resulting in at least 165 deaths.
00:28:48This current 2026 war follows the
00:28:5112-day war,
00:28:53on June 13-24,
00:28:552025,
00:28:56a prior direct military confrontation between Israel,
00:29:00the U.S.,
00:29:01and Iran that ended in a ceasefire.
00:29:03The 2025 conflict was triggered by Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
00:29:09It involved over 1,500 Iranian missiles and drones fired at Israel.
00:29:14The U.S. thereafter conducted Operation Midnight Hammer in June 2025,
00:29:20using B-2 stealth bombers to strike nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
00:29:26As of March 2, 2026,
00:29:29local media reports in Israel indicate that at least 12 people have been killed in Israel
00:29:34since the current conflict with Iran escalated on February 28.

00:30:04Over the past 36 hours,
00:30:08the United States and its partners have launched Operation Epic Fury,
00:30:13one of the largest, most complex, most overwhelming military offensives
00:30:19the world has ever seen.
00:30:21Nobody's seen anything like it.
00:30:23We have hit hundreds of targets in Iran,
00:30:27including Revolutionary Guard facilities,
00:30:30Iranian air defense systems.
00:30:32Just now, it was announced that we knocked out nine ships plus their naval building,
00:30:39all in a matter of literally minutes.
00:30:43Iran's formerly Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei is dead.
00:30:51This wretched and vile man had the blood of hundreds and even thousands of Americans on his hands
00:30:59and was responsible for the slaughter of countless thousands of innocent people
00:31:04all across many countries.
00:31:08Last night, all over Iran,
00:31:10the voices of the Iranian people could be heard cheering and celebrating in the streets
00:31:15when his death was announced.
00:31:19The entire military command is gone as well,
00:31:23and many of them want to surrender into saving their lives.
00:31:28They want immunity.
00:31:30They're calling by the thousands.
00:31:33Combat operations continue at this time in full force,
00:31:37and they will continue until all of our objectives are achieved.
00:31:41We have very strong objectives.
00:31:44They could have done something two weeks ago,
00:31:47but they just couldn't get there.
00:31:48Earlier today, CENTCOM shared the news that three U.S. military service members
00:31:54have been killed in action.
00:31:57As one nation, we grieve for the true American patriots
00:32:01who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation,
00:32:06even as we continue the righteous mission for which they gave their lives.
00:32:11We pray for the full recovery of the wounded
00:32:15and send our immense love and eternal gratitude
00:32:18to the families of the fallen.
00:32:21And sadly, there will likely be more.
00:32:25Before it ends, that's the way it is.
00:32:28Likely be more.
00:32:29But we'll do everything possible
00:32:31where that won't be the case.
00:32:33But America will avenge their deaths
00:32:36and deliver the most punishing blow to the terrorists
00:32:39who have waged war against, basically, civilization.
00:32:44They have waged war against civilization itself.
00:32:49Our resolve, and likewise, that of Israel,
00:32:53has never been stronger.
00:32:54America is now, again, the richest,
00:32:57most powerful nation in the world, by far.
00:33:00But the only reason we enjoy the quality of life that we do
00:33:04and the freedom and security
00:33:06is we have done things that others are unable to do.
00:33:12But it's because of warriors who are willing to lay down their lives
00:33:17to do battle with our enemies.
00:33:20And they do battle better than anybody.
00:33:24An Iranian regime armed with long-range missiles
00:33:27and nuclear weapons would be a dire threat to every American.
00:33:32We cannot allow a nation that raises terrorist armies
00:33:36to possess such weapons would allow them to extort the world
00:33:41to their evil will.
00:33:43We're not going to let it happen.
00:33:44We're not happening to us,
00:33:46and we're not going to let it happen to others.
00:33:49The United States has the strongest military
00:33:52the world has ever seen.
00:33:55I rebuilt our military in my first term.
00:33:58There's never been a military like we possess.
00:34:02And frankly, there's nobody even close.
00:34:05But we are now using that military for good.
00:34:08We want to have it for good purpose.
00:34:11We're undertaking this massive operation
00:34:14not merely to ensure security for our own time and place,
00:34:19but for our children and their children,
00:34:21just as our ancestors have done for us many, many years ago.
00:34:27This is the duty and the burden of a free people.
00:34:32These actions are right,
00:34:33and they are necessary to ensure that Americans
00:34:36will never have to face a radical, bloodthirsty terrorist regime
00:34:42armed with nuclear weapons and lots of threats.
00:34:46For almost 50 years,
00:34:48these wicked extremists have been attacking the United States
00:34:52while chanting the slogan Death to America
00:34:56or Death to Israel or both.
00:34:58They are the world's number one state sponsor of terror.
00:35:02We are the world's greatest and most powerful nation
00:35:05so we can do something about what they do.
00:35:08These intolerable threats will not continue any longer.
00:35:13I once again urge the Revolutionary Guard,
00:35:17the Iranian military, police,
00:35:19to lay down your arms and receive full immunity
00:35:23or face certain death.
00:35:24It will be certain death.
00:35:26It won't be pretty.
00:35:28I call upon all Iranian patriots
00:35:31who yearn for freedom
00:35:32to seize this moment,
00:35:34to be brave, be bold, be heroic,
00:35:37and take back your country.
00:35:40America is with you.
00:35:41I made a promise to you,
00:35:43and I fulfilled that promise.
00:35:45The rest will be up to you,
00:35:47but we'll be there to help.
00:35:50God bless you to our incredible warriors,
00:35:53and God bless the United States of America.
00:36:02U.S. government under the leadership of President Donald Trump
00:36:08has ordered its citizens out of Lebanon
00:36:10with the non-emergency citizens
00:36:12specially warned to avoid traveling to southern Lebanon.
00:36:15Although the U.S. Embassy in Beirut
00:36:17never mentioned Israel and Hezbollah
00:36:19possible new war in the Middle East
00:36:22as the reason for its action,
00:36:23but there are strong indications
00:36:25that the America government took the decision
00:36:28because of the possible military conflicts in the region.
00:36:31According to the U.S. government,
00:36:33it do not want America's citizens
00:36:35to travel to Lebanon due to crime,
00:36:37terrorism,
00:36:38civil unrest,
00:36:39kidnapping,
00:36:40unexploded landmines,
00:36:42and the risk of armed conflict,
00:36:44stating that,
00:36:45some areas,
00:36:46especially near the borders,
00:36:48have increased risk,
00:36:49while information available on Monday
00:36:51indicated that Hezbollah
00:36:53is preparing to resume retaliatory strikes
00:36:55against Israel
00:36:57by rejecting U.S. ceasefire deal

00:38:00at the Knesset and said

00:38:05but they are prepared for any scenario,
00:38:07adding,

00:38:27Kuwait,
00:38:28and Qatar,
00:38:29unless absolutely necessary.
00:38:31It would be recalled that the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah
00:38:35has historically involved two major wars which occurred in 2006 and 2024,
00:38:40and yet,
00:38:41possible new war remains in a state of high tension characterized by a fragile ceasefire
00:38:46and ongoing military operations.
00:38:49In February 2026,
00:38:51the Middle East region is currently under a fragile ceasefire that began on November 27, 2024,
00:38:58yet both sides of Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon frequently report violations.
00:39:03The 2024 war was triggered by the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks on Israel,
00:39:10which,
00:39:11Hezbollah began firing rockets into Israel on October 8, 2023.
00:39:16This escalated into a full-scale war in September 2024.
00:39:20The conflict,
00:39:22according to local authorities in Lebanon and Israel resulted in over 4,000 deaths in Lebanon
00:39:28and approximately 130 deaths in Israel.
00:39:31A U.S. brokered ceasefire was signed in November 2024,
00:39:36requiring Hezbollah to withdraw north of the Latani River.
00:39:40Prior to the recent conflict,
00:39:42the most significant engagement was the 34-day 2006 Lebanon War
00:39:47which started on July 12, 2006,
00:39:50after Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers.
00:39:53The war ended with UN Security Council Resolution 1701,
00:39:58which called for Hezbollah's disarmament in the south of the Latani River,
00:40:02a provision that was never fully enforced and still remains a core issue till date.
00:40:07In recent days,
00:40:09Israel continues to carry out near-daily strikes in Lebanon,
00:40:13targeting what it describes as Hezbollah command centers and missile.
00:40:17Units,
00:40:18particularly in the Bekar Valley and southern Lebanon,
00:40:21Israel Defense Forces on Saturday said it eliminated several terrorists of Hezbollah's missile array
00:40:27in three different command centers in the Baalbek area in Lebanon.
00:40:32IDF said,
00:40:33they were identified as operating to accelerate readiness and force build-up processes.
00:40:38While planning fire attacks toward Israel and advancing terror attacks,
00:40:42their actions constituting a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
00:40:47The command center was embedded within the center of a civilian populated area,
00:40:52and recently used by Hamas terrorists to plan and prepare terror attacks against IDF troops and Israel,
00:40:59in violation of the ceasefire understandings.
00:41:02In response to repeated ceasefire violations,
00:41:05the IDF struck a Hamas command center,
00:41:08from which terrorists operated,
00:41:10in the An-al-Hilway area in southern Lebanon.

00:48:38Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu while speaking before Israeli lawmakers on Monday, said and in quotes below, Mr.
00:48:47Speaker, members of the Knesset, once a month we meet here.
00:48:52I listen attentively to your remarks, which are becoming increasingly polemical and very, very aggressive.
00:48:58At times, they deteriorate into a language that should not be common here.
00:49:03But I must tell you, I am not exactly deterred by these encounters.
00:49:08I don't even dislike them.
00:49:11Sometimes, I can even enjoy them.
00:49:13I recently returned from my seventh meeting with the President of the United States since his election.
00:49:20In the last two and a half years, we have pushed back a threat against every single citizen of Israel,
00:49:27Jews and non-Jews,
00:49:28peredum and secular, and everyone in between.
00:49:31A threat against the 10 million citizens of Israel, who face the danger of annihilation by the Iranian enemy and
00:49:38its proxies.
00:49:39And I say today, regarding the subject of this debate, the safeguarding of the lives of millions of Israeli citizens,
00:49:47Israel has never been stronger.
00:49:49The alliance with the U.S. has never been tighter.
00:49:52This includes the relationship between the President of the United States and the Prime Minister of Israel,
00:49:58between myself and Donald Trump.
00:50:01There have never been relations like these between the IDF and the U.S. military,
00:50:06between our security agencies and their security services.
00:50:09There has never been anything like it.
00:50:12The entire world knows Israel's strength.
00:50:15Leaders come to us.
00:50:16The Chancellor of Germany,
00:50:18leaders of world powers,
00:50:19the Prime Minister of India,
00:50:22a superpower of one and a half billion people,
00:50:25President Trump previously,
00:50:26and other leaders who have been here and spoken here.
00:50:29So, I could come now,
00:50:32and I've prepared for this,
00:50:33I have points here,
00:50:35I could answer you in kind,
00:50:36but much more forcefully.
00:50:38I could confront you with the truth that you are trying to disguise.
00:50:42I could,
00:50:43but this is not the time for polemics.
00:50:45I am putting that aside.
00:50:47We are in complex and challenging days.
00:50:50Members of the Knesset,
00:50:52no one knows what the day will bring.
00:50:54We are keeping a watchful eye.
00:50:56We are prepared for any scenario.
00:50:59I have conveyed and clarified to the Ayatollah's regime
00:51:02that if they make what might be the gravest mistake in their history
00:51:05and attack the State of Israel,
00:51:07we will respond with a force they cannot even imagine.
00:51:11This is not the time for bickering.
00:51:12In these days,
00:51:14on the eve of the Purim holiday,
00:51:16in those days,
00:51:17as of this season,
00:51:19we must close ranks as a nation
00:51:21and stand shoulder to shoulder.
00:51:23I am confident in our strength.
00:51:25I trust our commanders.
00:51:27I trust our male and female fighters.
00:51:30I trust our people,
00:51:31and I trust you,
00:51:33the citizens of Israel.
00:51:34We have already proven that when we stand together,
00:51:37we achieve greatness.
00:51:39On the eve of Purim,
00:51:41we will stand together,
00:51:42and with God's help,
00:51:44we will ensure the eternity of Israel.
00:51:52Nigeria Police Force
00:51:54under the leadership of the Inspector General of Police,
00:51:57IGP Kayode Egbetokan,
00:52:00has kept months since a video went viral on social media platforms,
00:52:04wherein,
00:52:05allegation of bringing people illegally to settle inside forest in Edo State
00:52:10was made against the Divisional Police Officer,
00:52:12the DPO who is currently serving at the Divisional Police Headquarters
00:52:17at Uboha Community in the Essen Southeast Local Government Area in the state,
00:52:22a state that have witnessed rampant cases of kidnappings in recent time,
00:52:26especially since the beginning of this year,
00:52:29despite the fact that the Edo State Governor,
00:52:31Mande Okpabolo,
00:52:33has executed the destruction of numbers of houses
00:52:36or properties of apparent innocent landlords
00:52:38or people who may not have direct connection with the crime.
00:52:42It may be recalled that early 2025,
00:52:45the governor demolished a residential property on College Road
00:52:48simply because it was linked to a kidnapping gang operating in the Aduawa,
00:52:53Ayaan,
00:52:54and Benin-Auchi Road bypass axis,
00:52:57even when the building belonged to a woman based in Italy.
00:53:00Just that,
00:53:01her brother,
00:53:02Osamede Asimota,
00:53:03the alleged key leader of the gang,
00:53:05allegedly used it to coordinate abductions.
00:53:08This is just one of many properties demolished by the Edo State Government over kidnapping in the state,
00:53:14yet,
00:53:15records of kidnappings in the state continued to grow higher,
00:53:18and recent police and military arrests indicated that Edo State is perhaps under siege of foreign invaders
00:53:25who may have taken over larger part of the state forest to coordinate kidnappings in the state
00:53:31while working with some of the local residents to perpetuate the criminal act.
00:53:35It may be interesting to note that
00:53:37another set of non-indigenes of the state arrested by the police recently included
00:53:42two persons caught inside the specialist hospital in Auchi.
00:53:46The two suspects who are said to be non-indigenes of the state
00:53:49were among the gang of kidnappers behind the abduction of Dr. Abu Babatunde
00:53:54who regained his freedom after his family reportedly paid a sum of 50 million nairas ransom
00:54:00after the doctor and his younger brother were abducted on January 2, 2026,
00:54:06while opening the gate to their residence along City Pride Road,
00:54:10Igbira Camp, Auchi,
00:54:12and unfortunately,
00:54:13the younger brother was later found dead on January 5 near the Orley River along City Pride Road,
00:54:19with police suspecting he was killed by the abductors,
00:54:23and the alleged illegal settlers who confessed the Ugboha DPO as their facilitator,
00:54:28are said to be non-Nigerians from foreign countries.
00:54:31According to one of the vigilantes who caught the illegal settlers,
00:54:35the arrested illegal settlers in the forest will be taken to the station.
00:54:39The vigilante member also said the illegal settlers are not Nigerians,
00:54:43and close watchers said people are brought in and smuggled into Edo forests illegally
00:54:49and such people may be responsible for the act of kidnapping in the state.
00:54:54Available records indicated that the kidnapping situation in the state is currently happening
00:54:59almost daily with numbers of the state residents and indigenes also recorded dead or killed by kidnappers
00:55:05since Governor Munday Okpebolo came into power.
00:55:08On the recent arrest of two suspects at the specialist hospital in Auchi,
00:55:13the Edo State Command Public Relations Officer,
00:55:16Eno Ikiodom,
00:55:17the first breakthrough came on 3 February 2026.
00:55:21Operatives of the Auchi Division,
00:55:23while conducting a routine bush-combing operation in collaboration with local hunters and vigilante groups,
00:55:30at Warrake Forest,
00:55:31and, following a lead on an intelligence,
00:55:34intercepted one Samanu Kawuji,
00:55:36mail,
00:55:37and,
00:55:38a search conducted on the suspect led to the recovery of two knives,
00:55:42two mobile phones,
00:55:43one UBA ATM card,
00:55:45and the sum of 20,000,
00:55:48250 naira.
00:55:49An identification parade was conducted at the police,
00:55:53station and he was identified by one of the abductors of Dr. Abu Babatunde.
00:55:59Similarly,
00:55:59on the 8th of February 2026 at about 9 o'clock hours,
00:56:03the divisional police officer,
00:56:06following a lead on the same case mobilized operatives to the specialist hospital,
00:56:10Auchi,
00:56:11where two suspects identified as Idris Abu Bakar,
00:56:14mail,
00:56:15and Sani Abu Bakar,
00:56:17mail,
00:56:17were apprehended at the hospital premises.
00:56:20Both suspects have also been identified as part of the gang that abducted Dr. Babatunde on February 1st,
00:56:272026.
00:56:29Idris Abu Bakar was identified as the particular person who received ransom money for the release of Dr. Abu.
00:56:36Efforts have been intensified towards conducting a comprehensive and discreet investigation aimed at dismantling the entire notorious organized criminal network
00:56:45responsible for the kidnappings in Auchi and its environs.
00:56:49The Commissioner of Police,
00:56:51Hido State Command,
00:56:53CP Monday Agbonica,
00:56:55reassures members of the public of the command's resolve to pursue all kidnapping cases to a logical conclusion and bring
00:57:01perpetrators to justice,
00:57:03while sustaining aggressive bushcombing operations and intelligence-led policing across the state.
00:57:09The command can be reached on the following numbers,
00:57:12Emergency Control Room Numbers,
00:57:2008077773721 and 08037646272 and for Complaints,

00:57:31PCB 0815-09999335,
00:57:40Complaints Response Unit,
00:57:43CRU 08100-03899992.
00:57:50Meanwhile,
00:57:51a lecturer with the Federal Polytechnic,
00:57:53Auchi,
00:57:54Issa Abdulaziz had earlier on Sunday,
00:57:57posted on his Facebook wall that,
00:57:59Dr. Abu Babatunde reported for duty today,
00:58:03Sunday February 8,
00:58:042026,
00:58:05at the Edo State University Teaching Hospital,
00:58:08unaware that his routine workday would reopen one of the darkest chapters of his life.
00:58:13While on ward rounds,
00:58:15Dr. Babatunde noticed some individuals who had come to visit a patient.
00:58:20In a chilling moment of recognition,
00:58:22he identified among them members of the same kidnapping gang that abducted him and his younger brother,
00:58:28a tragic incident that ended with the killing of his brother while attempting to escape from the den.
00:58:33Acting swiftly,
00:58:35Dr. Babatunde immediately alerted the local security outfit,
00:58:39popularly known as the Vigilante.
00:58:42However,
00:58:43under circumstances that remain unclear,
00:58:45the information reportedly leaped to the police before the Vigilante team could arrive.
00:58:50Police officers moved in promptly,
00:58:53arresting two of the suspects and detaining them today,
00:58:56Sunday February 8,
00:58:572026,
00:58:59at the Divisional Police Station in Auchi.
00:59:02Fresh accounts emerging today further deepened the case.
00:59:05One of the individuals who participated in delivering the ransom that secured,
00:59:09Dr. Babatunde's,
00:59:11release has identified one of the arrested suspects as being among those,
00:59:15who physically received the ransom on the day the payment was made.
00:59:19Another report indicates that,
00:59:21just last night,
00:59:22the two suspects carried out POS transactions at a stand within Auchi,
00:59:27raising fresh questions about the source of the funds.
00:59:31A significant sum of money was allegedly found in their possession at the time of arrest today,
00:59:36an amount investigators believe is inconsistent with the known means and strongly suggestive of criminal activity.
00:59:42As this report is being filed today,
00:59:46credible sources confirm that pressure is already being mounted on the Divisional Police Officer in Auchi to release the suspects.
00:59:53This development has sparked widespread concern within the community.
00:59:57Notably,
00:59:58during a recent meeting with Auchi youth bodies,
01:00:01the DPO was reportedly overheard stating that the case had become widely publicized and could no longer be swept under
01:00:08the carpet,
01:00:09an indication that attempts may already be underway to compromise the process.
01:00:14For a community long traumatized by kidnapping and violent crime,
01:00:18today's arrests represent a critical moment.
01:00:21The people of Auchi and its environs are watching closely.
01:00:25The Edo State Government must now take decisive responsibility.
01:00:29Governor Munday Okkabolo is urged to ensure that investigations are thorough and transparent and that,
01:00:35if the suspects are found guilty,
01:00:37the full weight of the Edo State Anti-Kidnapping Law is applied without interference.
01:00:43Justice for Dr. Abu Babatunde,
01:00:46for his murdered brother,
01:00:47and for countless victims across Edo North must not be delayed or denied.
01:00:52Today must mark a turning point,
01:00:54not another missed opportunity.

01:03:09Look at me.
01:03:10The security operatives to the kidnappers hideouts and launched massive military clearance and offensive actions against kidnappers.
01:03:17Both security operations led to the arrest of several suspected kidnappers allegedly caught in the act inside the bush.
01:03:25With the identities of the arrested suspects indicating that most of the kidnappers terrorizing Edo State are from the far
01:03:32northern part of Nigeria.
01:03:33An observation which appeared to have challenged the public policy statement made earlier in January 2026 by the Edo State
01:03:42governor.
01:03:42Monday Okpebholo who stated that many of those involved in the kidnapping surge in Edo State are indigenes of the
01:03:50area.
01:03:50Saying, that may be the reason some kidnappers wear face masks.
01:03:55The governor made this statement as kidnapping in the state appeared to have become worse in 2026 and very rampant
01:04:01in a manner that indicated that an average of one to two persons are being kidnapped in a day in
01:04:07Edo State.
01:04:07As more than 60 persons became new victims of the increasing criminal activities in the state since the beginning of
01:04:152026.
01:04:16Like, in January 2nd, 2026, two brothers, Dr. Abu Ibrahim Babatunde, a medical doctor on housemanship and Abu Tahir, a
01:04:26fresh graduate were kidnapped at the gate of their residence along City Pride Road.
01:04:30Higbira Camp in Auchi, the kidnappers initially demanded the 200 million Naira's ransom and tragically, on January 5th, one of
01:04:39the two brothers was found dead.
01:04:40On January 9th, 2026, eight indigenes of a Moga community in the Akoko Edo local government area of the state
01:04:49were abducted from a hotel along a billow road.
01:04:52Since the start of 2026, Edo State has experienced a significant surge in kidnappings.
01:04:59Leading to widespread protests at Akpoma in the Edo Central Senatorial Zone with multiple police rescue operations including the incidents
01:05:08reported early February 2026.
01:05:11Where police rescued nine victims including five children and a separate group of 14 victims.
01:05:17This is that, earlier on January 22nd, 2026, a farmer named Monday Adaro was kidnapped and later rescued and in
01:05:26late January,
01:05:27another farmer, Abraham Udwar, and his two wives, Brinda and Anna were abducted from a Goro Amende community but successfully
01:05:35rescued by security forces.
01:05:37In mid-January, Akay Fever and a former student union leader were kidnapped in Edo Central, troubled by the surge
01:05:46in kidnapping in the state.
01:05:47Residents and students of Ambrose Alley University, AAU staged a major protest on January 10th, 2026, citing daily kidnappings and
01:05:59the abduction of a university professor and numerous students on February 2nd, 2026.
01:06:05A family of nine was ambushed at Ekoa Beku Ioa Road in Ovia Northeast local government area and the kidnappers
01:06:12demanded a 260 million nairas ransom for four children and two women still held after five others were rescued or
01:06:21released.
01:06:21That aside, on January 31st, 2026, gunmen intercepted a commercial bus near Ekyodala, shooting the driver and taking passengers into
01:06:31the bush, police later rescued 13 victims.
01:06:34In mid-January 2026, multiple residents in Iqpoma were abducted, including a victim captured on CCTV being taken from his
01:06:44compound.
01:06:44According to Captain Kennedy Anyanwu, the Assistant Director of Army Public Relations at 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Troops of 4
01:06:53Brigade Nigerian Army, in collaboration with personnel of the Nigerian Air Force, Edo State Police Command, the Nigerian Security and
01:07:02Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, and the Edo State Security Corps,

01:08:23The sum of 87,550 nairas was also recovered.
01:08:29The suspects and recovered items have been handed over to the Edo State Police Command for further investigation.
01:08:36In a related development, troops of four brigade, in conjunction with the Edo State Police Command also combed the Avili
01:08:44Forest in Etsuko West local government area aimed at flushing out suspected terrorists and kidnappers.
01:08:50During the raid, five suspected kidnappers, Issyaka Abu Bakar, 37, Muhammad Abu Bakar, 25, Yusuf Abu Bakar, 24, Muhammad Somu,
01:09:0320, and Issyaka Ibrahim, 30, were arrested.
01:09:06Items recovered from them include two motorcycles, two Android phones, and a power bank.
01:09:13The suspects and recovered items were also handed over to the police for further investigation.
01:09:19The commander, four brigade, Brigadier General Ahmed Balagun, who led the operations, commended the swift response and collaboration among the
01:09:28security agencies.
01:09:29He warned that Edo State will be untenable for terrorists, kidnappers and other criminal elements to carry out the nefarious
01:09:37activities.
01:09:38He also reaffirmed the brigade's commitment to safeguarding lives and properties in the state.
01:09:44He expressed appreciation to the General Officer Commanding, 2 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Shinidu Nebafay, for his strategic guidance
01:09:54and support.
01:09:55While ASP Edo State Police Command, public relations officer had stated that, in continuation of the joint clearance operations,
01:10:05a meticulously executed night operation that underscores the resolve of synergized security forces to confront crime at its roots was
01:10:12conducted.
01:10:13The Edo State Police Command, in the early hours of Tuesday, 3 February 2026, carried out a daring raid deep
01:10:22within the Akbede Forest,
01:10:24Etsuko West local government area of Edo State, leading to the arrest of six suspects.
01:10:29The operation was launched following a critical intelligence breakthrough provided by a kidnapped victim who was able to clearly identify
01:10:37the forest camp where he had been held captive.
01:10:40Acting decisively on this lead, the Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, CP Munday Agbonica, personally led a formidable joint
01:10:50team comprising the Nigeria Police Force,
01:10:53the Nigerian Army, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, the Edo State Security Corps, ESSC, and local hunters
01:11:03into the heart of the forest under the cover of darkness.
01:11:07Demonstrating precision and determination, the joint team drove for approximately three, three, hours until the end of the last accessible
01:11:15motorable road.
01:11:16From that point, the operatives advanced on foot, navigating dense forest paths and crossing three, three, locally constructed wooden bridges
01:11:25to reach the identified camp.
01:11:27The silent advance, which lasted close to two, two, additional hours, ensured tactical surprise and prevented any compromise of the
01:11:36mission.
01:11:37Upon arrival at the location at about 3.45 a.m., the area was swiftly cordoned off in a well
01:11:45-coordinated encirclement, effectively cutting off all escape routes.
01:11:49A thorough sweep of the camp resulted in the arrest of six suspects identified as,
01:11:54Miquel Jendiga, male, aged 41 years, from Benaway State,
01:12:00Yusuf Abu Bakr, male, aged 34 years, from Karno State,
01:12:06Isyaka Abraham, male, aged 30 years, from Kogi State,
01:12:12Isyaka Abu Bakr, male, aged 37 years, from Karno State,
01:12:18Mohamed Sumo, male, aged 20 years, from Karno State,
01:12:23And Mohamed Abu Bakr, male, aged 25 years, from Karno State.
01:12:29The suspects are currently being profiled and subjected to intensive investigation by officers of the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID,
01:12:39Benin City, for diligent prosecution.
01:12:42Describing the operation as a clear message to criminal elements,
01:12:46The Commissioner of Police commends the courage, discipline, and seamless inter-agency collaboration displayed by all personnel involved.
01:12:54He reaffirms the command's determination to take the fight against organized crime to the abode of suspected criminals at their
01:13:01most remote locations
01:13:03and warned that Edo State forests will no longer serve as safe havens for criminals.
01:13:07The Edo State Police command urges members of the public to remain vigilant and to continue supporting security agencies with
01:13:16timely and credible information,
01:13:17assuring citizens that sustained intelligence-led operations will remain a key strategy in securing lives and property across the state.
01:13:25The Edo State Police command urges,
01:13:28In this write-up, a legal practitioner, Njoku Jude Njoku pinpoints some fundamentals in the judgment passed against Mazi Namdi
01:13:40Kanu,
01:13:40by Justice James Omatosho,
01:13:42which convicted and sentenced the Biafra Republic agitation leader to life imprisonment,
01:13:47and in this press release the legal practitioner issued in late 2025 entitled,
01:13:53The 24th of November 2025,
01:13:56The day evidence ceased to matter in Nigerian courts,
01:13:59judicial silence, selective justice, and media complicity,
01:14:03described Justice Omatosho as unprofessional,
01:14:06stating that,
01:14:08The most dangerous aspect of the judgment delivered by Justice James K. Omatosho,
01:14:13is not merely that it reached a foreordained conclusion,
01:14:16but that it did so by deliberately suppressing evidence he already admitted on record in his own court,
01:14:22thereby converting adjudication into a procedural facade.
01:14:25This was not an error of law or an oversight of fact.
01:14:28It was a calculated refusal to engage with material evidence whose evaluation would have fatally undermined the prosecution's narrative,
01:14:37empasing that,
01:14:38This case is no longer about one man.
01:14:41It is about whether courts may openly disregard admitted evidence and still be treated as legitimate,
01:14:46And whether the media will continue to mask such conduct through silence,
01:14:51A judiciary that can ignore evidence without explanation has ceased to function as a court of law,
01:14:57A media that refuses to question that silence has abdicated its public duty,
01:15:02Together, they place the rule of law itself in existential peril.
01:15:06Continuing,
01:15:07In details,
01:15:09Injoku said,
01:15:10Once evidence is admitted,
01:15:11It binds the judge absolutely.
01:15:13The conduct,
01:15:15Protest,
01:15:16Silence,
01:15:17Or alleged boycott of the defendant,
01:15:19Mazinamdi Kano,
01:15:20Is legally irrelevant to that obligation.
01:15:23Judgment writing is not a negotiation with the accused.
01:15:26It is a solitary judicial duty anchored exclusively to the evidentiary record.
01:15:31A judge may reject defense evidence,
01:15:34But he must first confront it,
01:15:36Evaluate it,
01:15:37And explain why it is rejected.
01:15:40Silence is not neutrality,
01:15:42Silence is suppression.
01:15:43Had Justice Hometosha evaluated the admitted video exhibit of Theophilus,
01:15:48T.Y.
01:15:49Danjuma,
01:15:50He would have been confronted with the inescapable reality that public calls for communities to arm themselves in self-defense
01:15:57against murderous violence were not unique to Namdi Kano,
01:16:00Nor criminalized when made by powerful establishment figures.
01:16:04Proper evaluation would have compelled the court to accept that Kano's calls for guns and bullets in Los Angeles USA
01:16:11or during broadcasts were framed as community self-defense against the ravages of armed Fulani killer herders, not incitement to
01:16:19lawless violence.
01:16:20Had Justice Hometosha evaluated the admitted video evidence of Governor Hope Uzodinma, he would have known, because Uzodinma stated it
01:16:29publicly, that neither Namdi Kano nor the IPOB had any hand in the killing of Ahmed Gulag.
01:16:35That single evaluation would have punctured one of the most politically weaponized allegations surrounding this case.
01:16:42Had Justice Hometosha listened to his fellow Yoruba kinsmen and Nigeria's intelligence chief, Adeola Oluwato Sanajai, whose statements were also
01:16:52admitted in evidence,
01:16:53He would have been forced to acknowledge that the formation of armed vigilante groups for community defense was openly endorsed
01:17:00at the highest levels of Nigeria's security establishment.
01:17:04That acknowledgement would have led inexorably to the conclusion that Kano was right to form to defend Igboland when the
01:17:10state failed to do so.
01:17:12Had Justice Hometosha evaluated the evidence surrounding Lagos state judicial panel of inquiry report on ENCE's violence,
01:17:20he would have seen the documentary trail showing that Namdi Kano repeatedly wrote to and consulted southeast governors,
01:17:26urging them to establish a regional security outfit similar to a Motecan.
01:17:31Their refusal, not Kano's, ambition, precipitated the formation of ESN.
01:17:38Proper judicial evaluation would have made clear that ESN was conceptually and functionally analogous to a Motecan,
01:17:45differing only in political acceptance, not in purpose.
01:17:49Had Justice Hometosha reviewed and evaluated the admitted report on ENCE's violence,
01:17:54he would have been confronted with authoritative findings that squarely blamed killings and violence on the army and police, not
01:18:01on Namdi Kano.
01:18:02That report decisively dismantles the lazy and dishonest attribution of nationwide violence to IPOB broadcasts
01:18:10and would have stripped the prosecution's claims of moral and evidentiary legitimacy.
01:18:15Had Justice Hometosha paid even minimal attention to chronology,
01:18:19he would have known that attributing post-June 2021 insecurity in the southeast to Namdi Kano is factually and logically
01:18:27impossible.
01:18:27From June 2021 onward, Kano was held in underground DSS detention, incommunicado,
01:18:35without access to telephones, visitors, counsel, or even his wife.
01:18:40A man locked in solitary confinement, denied all external communication,
01:18:46cannot simultaneously be directing events outside detention walls.
01:18:49Time itself disproves the allegation.
01:18:53The failure to reconcile alleged acts with undisputed detention timelines is not a minor evidentiary lapse,
01:18:59it is a collapse of basic judicial reasoning.
01:19:02Courts that ignore timelines abandon causation,
01:19:06and once causation is abandoned, conviction becomes a matter of narrative convenience rather than proof.
01:19:11These were not speculative arguments.
01:19:15They were admitted exhibits.
01:19:16Their collective evaluation would have collapsed the architecture of the conviction.
01:19:21That is precisely why they were ignored.
01:19:23The refusal to evaluate this evidence was not accidental.
01:19:27It was not procedural.
01:19:29It was outcome driven.
01:19:30Justice Hometosha ignored them because he was operating under an overriding imperative to convict by all means,
01:19:37regardless of the evidentiary record.
01:19:39This is the gravest danger such a judgment poses.
01:19:43It signals to the judiciary that evidence may be admitted, buried, and erased at the judgment stage without consequence.
01:19:50Even more disturbing is the silence of major international media organizations,
01:19:55none of which asked the most basic question any law student would pose.
01:20:00Why did the court ignore defense evidence it had itself admitted?
01:20:03By reproducing the conclusions of the judgment without interrogating its evidentiary omissions,
01:20:10these media houses became unwitting accomplices in the laundering of judicial misconduct.
01:20:15This case is no longer about one man.
01:20:18It is about whether courts may openly disregard admitted evidence and still be treated as legitimate,
01:20:24and whether the media will continue to mask such conduct through silence.
01:20:28A judiciary that can ignore evidence without explanation has ceased to function as a court of law.
01:20:34A media that refuses to question that silence has abdicated its public duty.
01:20:40Together, they place the rule of law itself in existential peril.
