PKR has sued its former members for allegedly breaching a party bond by defecting in the Sheraton move in February 2020, which resulted in the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan-led government.

Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh, suing in her capacity as the party secretary-general and on behalf of the party, named former party colleagues Baru Bian, Datuk Kamarudin Jaffar, Datuk Mansor Othman, Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon, Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah, and Datuk R. Santhara Kumar as the first until sixth defendants.

00:42According to the party, all defendants had signed bonds before contesting in the 14th Malaysian general election, requiring them to
00:50remain loyal to the party after being elected.
00:53PKR claims the defendants later left the party and supported another political coalition, which contributed to the collapse of the
01:01Pakatan Harappan government.
01:03The party is seeking 10 million ringgit from each defendant for breaching the bond.
01:08The case has been scheduled for case management on March 17th and 27th.
