01:06then it's a friendship and then you know it's like i think real relationships kind of slowly take this
01:11shape sometimes so i think it's been a lot of like what's the little couple of lines this episode and
01:17what's the couple little lines next episode to sort of i don't know have these characters circle each
01:22other yeah but yeah you also mechie does such a good job whenever i do look back on our stuff
01:29you do like your looks or like you know i mean i talk about this a lot but like that

01:34had like a little laugh moment in that break room oh sure sure yeah yeah yeah it's stuff like that

02:11sitting on my uncle's shoulders and as i lifted up my top our eyes met and they haven't looked away
02:16since but it's it's grown which is the thing is now that you know the character so well there's
02:22probably small little details that come out about them that maybe you didn't see before has it evolved
02:28in that way because obviously matt is not the same person he was and serena isn't either
02:33the same girl she was per se um can you talk about that finding those little details that help you
02:39sort of glom on to each of them
02:43yeah i i feel like i'm really charmed by uh that serena has a kind of like uh jokey like
02:52really really
02:53quick like sassy exterior almost but that she also has an appreciation for matt's like weird sense of
02:59humor matt matt's you know he's an odd guy and even in the way that he jokes around and that
03:04serena gives it the time of day or like gets it at all i think is like quite charming that
03:09it's you
03:09know it's different how she always is yeah and i feel like she she is um showing a lot of
03:14vulnerable
03:14side because of matt like you know i think matt is uh it brings very different energy
03:21and you know that yeah i think it's just they also have a really good friendship so
03:29yeah you know i think there's a lot of i don't know softer side we're cute excuse me i'm supposed

04:11thing is is that with all the different characters not just you guys but with ron with bruce with
04:17joyce it's all about sort of that volley and that dance you guys are doing throughout and
04:21alex throughout that space can you talk about learning to that space because the way you
04:26both do it like in between the curtains and certain things that's where the comedy comes
04:31from is that heart and that awkwardness yeah i mean i think that's why our show is so good
04:38because there's so much like i feel like the humor is based on reality like it comes from like real
04:45moments real situations with real relationships and i think that's why people can relate it relate
04:51to it so much even if they don't work in the you know healthcare profession like it's you know
04:57there's so much to grab onto yeah yeah yeah and i think it's like again it's like credit to the
05:03writers for for writing these characters that are really funny and and really great to to play but are
05:08also really different from each other so whoever you end up paired up with for the episode you
05:13already sort of imagine the fun of like oh matt and bruce that's great or like wow matt and joyce
05:18like i'm getting you know it's it's fun when you get the script and you see sort of who your
05:21storyline
05:22is with that week because you're already starting to uh uh uh think of you know what those people are
05:28like hey uh hey everything okay yeah no i um i've been in my head kind of pretty bad since
05:36the other
05:36day oh yeah i just feel embarrassed about it and okay well linda's pregnant again oh wow um congratulations
05:45it's a surprise we had a few glasses of wine watching the live action aladdin and
05:51we got a reckless sure samson just started applying to colleges now we're going back in
05:57the weeds could you give us just like two rescue dog kaiju he's got a really territorial ever since
06:02we gave him the master bedroom well it seems like you two have a lot to talk about so i'll

06:15oh cool but also building up into you know obviously the final two episodes of this season
06:21you know it's you know people have their goals it's interesting because you know looking at both
06:25these characters they both know professionally what they want they're still moving that way but
06:30personally they're still figuring themselves out i mean could you talk about that especially like
06:34the situation here the birthing center itself isn't interesting because that's a metaphor for god
06:39knows how many things on the show but can you talk about sort of you know looking at these
06:43situations and finding sort of the irony or the metaphor in them if you will
06:50wow that's a really big question yeah i mean i think that um i think that there is something
06:58interesting about like matt getting a little more sure of himself professionally and maybe uh as that
07:07happens becoming less sure of what's happening in his personal life i think that that's i think that's
07:12fun and i think that it's a nice maybe like a welcome distraction for the uh will they won't
07:17they characters to have this other thing that they're focused on which is like uh you know for
07:22me for matt it's like how can i be a good nurse it's still a big part of like what
07:27he's working out
07:28right now you know yeah i think for serena it's uh figuring out her probably like yeah personal life
07:35you know there's some stuff that happens that you know um is probably things that are you know
07:44maybe a trauma response yeah yeah like toxic behavior i don't know um so you know figuring that
07:52out yeah yeah i like the early on it's like we see that serena is like a travel nurse and
07:57yeah you
07:58kind of start to wonder like is she gonna stay will she will she maybe like run to a new
08:03easy
08:04situation in life or whatever so that's i'm always like what is she gonna do you know
