00:06recall petitions. They were given prison terms ranging from three months to nearly two years,
00:11but nearly all of them received suspended sentences. The court said the workers copied
00:16signatures from their member directory for recall petitions targeting ruling Democratic
00:20Progressive Party lawmakers last year. The KMT has called the sentencing excessive.
00:26The verdict can be appealed.
