00:00Australian beef exports have been updated for February. We've seen a really strong start to
00:04the season. Total exports are up 11%. If you look to America, beef exports there are up 14%
00:10compared to last February. And China's been really strong, up 26% compared to last February.
00:16That Chinese demand has really been growing because of the rush to get ahead of this safeguard
00:20tariff. As at the end of February, the safeguard tariff is now 41% already taken up. So it's
00:28going, chewing through at the moment and probably by about April, May of this year, we're going to
00:33be hitting that safeguard tariff for China. Other destinations like Japan, they're pretty steady
00:38compared to last February, they were pretty flat, same levels, but still strong and above the averages.
00:45And South Korea also started the season strong. So generally speaking, our top four markets have
00:50been really booming since the start of the year. It's a good sign for the Australian producer.
