00:05She went to her local Walmart to pick up a couple of cakes that she had ordered.
00:08And she was shocked by what she found when she got to the bakery.
00:14Falling prices.
00:16No.
00:16Oh.
00:18So Diane has stage three breast cancer.
00:20Oh.
00:21And as you can imagine, over the past several months of getting treatment, she hasn't been able to work.
00:25So she's, you know, scraping everything to get by and worried about her health.
00:30Right.
00:31But she had placed an order for two cakes from the Walmart bakery worth $50 so that she could take
00:42them in and thank the workers at the hospital who had been taking care of her over the past several
00:48months.
00:48Wow.
00:49Yeah.
00:50So when she arrived to pick up the cakes, she saw that they were marked as paid.
00:55And she was like, I didn't pay for them yet.
00:59Like, I placed the order, but I never gave you a credit card or anything.
01:02And it turns out that somebody in that bakery in Walmart knew what she was going through.
01:10They knew what those cakes were for.
01:12And an employee anonymously paid for the cakes for her.
01:15An employee.
01:17Yeah.
01:18That is incredible.
01:20Yeah.
01:20Somebody in the bakery saw this and was like, not today, Diane.
01:25You can celebrate, but it's on me.
01:27Wow.
01:28This is amazing.
01:29And the extra special part is this isn't Walmart big, big company picking up the bill, right?
01:35Which wouldn't even, they wouldn't even hesitate because it wouldn't even matter to them.
01:40Of course.
01:40It's an employee making God knows how much an hour who says this is incredible.
01:44So Diane still has a road to go, right?
01:47Yeah.
01:47So she's going through, she's got surgery coming up in a couple of weeks, followed by six weeks
01:53of radiation.
01:53She says this act of kindness inspired her to pay it forward.
01:57She continues to express her gratitude for the recognition of, you know, like the people
02:03that have helped her along in her cancer journey.
02:05So this is what she's carrying with her as she's going through probably the scariest time
02:12in her life, which just fills her heart with, with joy.
