00:01Everton's season under David Moyes has been a journey of reinvention.
00:05After years of turbulence, points deductions and relegation battles,
00:09Moyes' return has brought stability and a renewed belief that this campaign can end on a high note.
00:15I'd like to have created more chances and more opportunities,
00:18but in the main we've done a good job and kept it controlled most of the game for pretty long
00:26periods.
00:27Dwight done great, made his pass, his control, his pass for the second goal to get out,
00:32and then he was early to early.
00:34He'd done really well, and I'm really pleased for Dwight,
00:37because he's probably had a tough time and different things.
00:43I think the difference tonight in Dwight, I think it was very noticeable in his other performances.
00:49His other performances were never at the level that he played tonight,
00:52so he played much, much better tonight.
00:55And I've been saying he's training better and he's getting more confidence.
01:00You know, they nearly gave him a standing ovation coming off tonight, Dwight.
01:03So that tells me that everybody in the house is watching him
01:08and they all thought he played well tonight, and he did.
01:10He'd done a great job.
01:11Following a hard-fought tuna win over Burnley at the Hill Dickinson Stadium,
01:15Everton sit comfortably in the top half within touching distance of European qualification.
01:20A remarkable position, given where the club found itself not long ago.
01:26Moise has been honest about his side's inconsistencies,
01:30struggling to string wings together,
01:32and it's been a challenge ever to have managed a three-game winning streak this season,
01:36something the manager views as key to sustaining their push up the table.
01:42Kian Dewsbury Hall, who'd come back from injury.
01:44The two boys were away in AFCON, and obviously Kian, who had an injury for about six weeks.
01:50We missed them greatly over around that sort of December and January period,
01:55and we couldn't really get any rhythm.
01:57The last couple of games, we've started to show a bit more rhythm in my football.
02:01I'm still feeling that I could do with just getting a little bit more in the final third,
02:08where we think we can maybe create more or make more chances.
02:11But look, we're back-to-back wins tonight, which for us is great.
02:16Keeps us in a strong position, and up to 43 points,
02:20we'll start looking at the next number five if we can,
02:24and see if we can get to that as quick as we can.
02:27After tough spells throughout this campaign,
02:30especially recent victories that caused optimism,
02:33the side showed courage in a 3-2 win at Newcastle,
02:36then professionalism in the Burnley victory,
02:39controlling large parts of the game and showing they can win in different ways.
02:45Moyes knows consistency won't come overnight,
02:47but by celebrating progress, demanding accountability,
02:50and nurturing belief in his players,
02:52Everton are aiming to build momentum and finish the season stronger than many expected.
