00:00Tom, you're no stranger to being called a villain, and now you're on House of Villains.
00:06How did you come to embrace this title and not take things so personally?
00:10I had been asked to do this show previous seasons, and I was a little reluctant at first.
00:17But then knowing that I'm going to be in a place where, you know, everybody's sort of been labeled a
00:22villain, it felt more like a safe haven than anything.
00:25And it was so much fun shooting this show.
00:28It was, I mean, immediately hitting it off with Tyson Apostle, me and him, like, totally developed a bromance and
00:34had so much fun.
00:35And he's such a great game player and obviously a legend.
00:40I didn't want to feel like I was on, like, a late 90s, you know, episode of Jerry Springer where
00:45people are just going to be yelling and running in the room and screaming and fighting.
00:48And so we wanted it to be chill, more relaxed, and it was.
00:53And it was a lot of fun.
00:53And actually, one of the things I feel really helped me on the show was sort of being an anti
01:00-villain in a way.
01:02Just being very honest and true and transparent and developing power and respect the good old-fashioned way by just
01:10being a good dude.
01:11Was it important for you to sort of continue this, I hate to call it redemption tour, but to continue
01:17to let people see the real you?
01:19So, yeah, I mean, that's just that it's important for me to just be true to myself and, you know,
01:26be the person that I want to be in with House of Villains, which, by the way, was such a
01:31fun experience.
01:32I mean, you know, comparatively to traitors, you know, traitors, it's very intense.
01:36You're in this castle.
01:37You feel like you don't have control.
01:39It's so hard to figure out who the traitors are.
01:41You could be murdered for any reason.
01:43You could be banished because nobody knows.
01:45So you don't really feel like you have a lot of control over your environment and your surroundings and really
01:53what's going to happen next.
01:54But with House of Villains, you do feel like you have control and more control and can really develop those
02:01relationships and those bonds and those alliances and work strategically with other people.
02:08Unlike traitors, we get to see the living space of House of Villains.
02:12You know, and a lot has been said online about you wanting to room, not with a girl.
02:18Wanted Tom to be here.
02:19I definitely don't want a girl in my room just because, you know, I'm in a relationship.
02:23Do you want to room with me?
02:24Yeah, I would room with you.
02:25Let's do it a percent.
02:26OK, let's rock.
02:27Was that just a respect issue to Victoria, an abundance of caution?
02:32Um, it's just I mean, obviously, it's a respect thing for Victoria and as well as I just just feel
02:39more comfortable, you know, with a guy like obviously we're going to be sharing a bathroom as well.
02:43I just felt it safer and more, you know, I feel like girls would want to room with girls also
02:48and guys want to room with guys.
02:50So you must have seen those scenes with Kate talking about Jojo Siwa and Special Forces saying stuff like she
02:58must have been on it like because she needed the money.
03:01Jojo Siwa, she broke because she should be rich.
03:05She was torn.
03:06She was like a child.
03:07She is rich.
03:07I don't know because she did Special Forces.
03:09She did really bad.
03:11She had to carry Tom Sandoval across like a desert.
03:13What were your thoughts when you watched that back?
03:15Being on Special Forces that Jojo Siwa was really excited about being there and she trained to prepare herself for
03:23that.
03:23Like she got a trainer, like weighted vest, was doing everything in combat boots.
03:29Like so she was like ready to go and really excited to be there and had a really, really positive
03:35attitude that helped, you know, make the experience so much better on Special Forces.
03:40So I think the last thing she was worried about was the money because also in Special Forces, I don't
03:46know if you know this, but you get paid the same amount of money if you stay there one day
03:50or, you know, 10 days.
03:52So I think if it was about that, she would have just came and got her money and dipped out.
03:57Jojo might not be the best fit for House of Villains, but how do you think she'd do in a
04:01season of Traders?
04:04I think she would do well.
04:05She connects with people.
04:07I feel like people like her.
04:09I think that's really what it comes down to.
04:12But Traders, it's so tough to say.
04:16Like, you know, Dorinda like was eliminated immediately.
04:20You know, somebody like Johnny Bananas you think would do really well.
04:23He was like eliminated immediately.
04:25So you just, you never really know how people are going to do.
04:30I mean, and look, like you got Rob, you know, from Love Island who ends up being like the best
04:36Trader ever.
04:39So you just never know.
04:41I do want to talk to you about Johnny.
04:44For some reason, you really got under his skin.
04:47Coming back from this supervillain with smoke on my back.
04:51I could say you, Tom, you're going down and you could be scared for your life and I could do
04:55everything I can to make sure you get the fuck up out of here.
04:57But I'm not.
04:58I'm trying to create trust.
04:59Why do you think that is?
05:01I have no idea.
05:02He initially did approach me to, you know, I could tell he wanted to be in an alliance and I
05:09was a little apprehensive because when you go and you do a show like this, like you don't want to
05:14just jump into like an alliance immediately.
05:16You kind of want to see how people do, how they are, like where they stand with everybody else before
05:22just sort of jumping.
05:23And so I kind of like I kept him a little bit at an arm's length for like the first
05:27day or so.
05:28And I think maybe that bothered him.
05:31Maybe he felt like some sort of rejection or whatever.
05:33And so, yeah, I didn't understand that either.
05:38Someone wants to be sort of the king of the click.
05:41And what was strange, too, because on the on the toxic tea challenge, I literally got out.
05:48I got out two people and then literally myself.
05:52Like I pretty much told Tyson that I poisoned him to hand Johnny, the supervillain, you know, so it was
06:00really strange to me that he didn't trust me at that point.
06:03You know, if I'm pretty much making him supervillain.
06:06Question has come up about whether or not you have a chin implant this season.
06:12It was cute, but clearly there's some self-care that we've been neglecting.
06:17I'm not saying that you need to do what Tom did and, you know, become a cyborg, but let's put
06:22on some moisturizer.
06:23What do you think of these people being so obsessed with your face?
06:28I guess I guess I'm flattered.
06:31But, yeah, I definitely don't have a chin implant.
06:34And my face looks the same as it always has since I first got on Vanderpump Rolls.
06:42But, yeah, that's I think I think I did a selfie video and I had it on point five and
06:50I had it close.
06:51And I think it made my like it elongated my face.
06:54And I think that's where that came from.
06:57But, yeah, I just think it's funny because my face is the same shape it's been for the past, you
07:02know, 14 years that I've been on TV.
07:04I think it's been for the past, you know, 14 years that I've been on TV.
