00:00A groundbreaking ceremony was held in Barangay Policarpio, San Luis Agusan del Sur, marking the formal start of an 18

00:07or 8.16-kilometer road concreting project.

00:11The road will connect Barangay Balit, Policarpio, Santa Rita, and Mahagsay to the Bukidnon boundary, directly benefiting 2,713 residents

00:22in mountain and remote communities.

00:24Several officials highlighted the project's significance for peace, development, and improving the lives of the indigenous communities by providing better

00:34product, transportation, and easier access to services.

00:38The 200-million-peso project is funded by the Office of the Presidential Advisor on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity, or

00:45OPAPRU, under the PAMANA program, and will be implemented by the provincial government of Agusan del Sur.
