00:00Whenever you play a character, you really become the role.
00:03You become that character.
00:05And I'm curious, is it true that you cried for 15 minutes
00:08after the scene where Walter stands by and lets Jane die on Breaking Bad?
00:13Is that true?
00:13It is true.
00:14One of the risks that actors take emotionally is that
00:18you could get caught up in some memory that helps you as a character.
00:23You just forget about that and do a scene.
00:26And sure enough, in the middle of that scene, I'm looking at her choking.
00:30My daughter's face, my real daughter's face, took over.
00:34All of a sudden, I saw her choking.
00:36And it stopped me.
00:39And I got caught in that image.
00:43And then it went away.
00:45And Kristen Ritter's face came back.
00:47And she was acting up a storm for me, which I appreciated.
00:50You get caught.
00:51It's one of those things that happens from time to time.
