Honkai: Star Rail is a space-fantasy RPG that trades the real-time action of its predecessor, Genshin Impact, for a deeply strategic turn-based combat system. As the Trailblazer, you travel across the galaxy aboard the Astral Express, exploring diverse planets—from the frozen tundra of Jarilo-VI to the high-tech sci-fi landscapes of the Xianzhou Luofu.
The Combat:
Battles revolve around a four-person party. The core mechanic is Weakness Breaking: every enemy has specific elemental weaknesses (Physical, Fire, Ice, Lightning, Wind, Quantum, or Imaginary). By using the right elements, you deplete their "Toughness" bar, triggering powerful break effects and delaying their turns. Strategy is key, as you must manage Skill Points shared by the whole team while timing your Ultimate abilities, which can be unleashed at any moment—even during an enemy's turn.
Exploration & Progression:
While not a seamless open world, the game offers large, semi-open zones filled with puzzles, hidden treasure chests, and interactive environmental storytelling. Characters follow specific Paths (classes) like The Destruction (all-around DPS), The Preservation (tanks), or The Harmony (buffers), allowing for endless team-building combinations.

00:00This video is brought to you by S.T.A.L.A.
00:33We're here. This is Rivet Town. Everything looks familiar. Let's go, and watch your step. I haven't been here in
00:44a long time. There are probably some monsters around.
01:08Way over there. See that house on the hill? That's Natasha's old orphanage. After Oleg found me, he sent me
01:15there. I spent over half my childhood in that place.
01:22Natasha said that the house was donated by some rich businessman. Whatever his business may have been, he must have
01:28been a good person.
01:30I missed those carefree days as a kid.
01:33Huh. What? Nothing to say?
01:36No, it's just... this place seems familiar somehow. Never mind.
01:44Weirdo. Look down there. See the mess that remains of those old stalls? That's Rivet Town's market. The supplies Natasha
01:51wants are probably there. Let's keep moving. Watch out for monsters.
02:07Careful! Enemies ahead. These aren't like vagrants. We won't...
02:18We won't be the waves.
02:35We won't be the waves.
02:45I can
02:48It's just the most bleeding as the Dawns did, destined for oblivion
02:52I told you I could fight
02:55With me out here, how can we lose?
02:59Let's go
03:02How about this?
03:07Rules are made to be broken
03:18Reach the end of the story in your own way
03:21The facilities here seem to be in pretty good shape
03:25Not like those of a place that has been abandoned for years
03:28Now that you mention it
03:30It does seem a little
03:33Could people still be living here?
03:36Impossible
03:42Looks good
03:50There's a bunch of crates piled over there
03:52Maybe we can find what we're looking for
03:55Watch out for monsters
03:56They'd like to...
04:00Darn
04:00How could they all be empty?
04:02Now even the monsters are gathering supplies?
04:05The monsters of the Fragmentum don't need any materials we humans use
04:08And if they did take anything
04:09This place would look much messier
04:13You mean that someone else got here and took everything before us?
04:16It's just a guess
04:17But there are also some footprints on the ground here
04:22The scent of dirt is still fresh
04:24They can't have come too long before us
04:26Let's go then
04:27We need to find something
04:29Even if we have to search every corner of this market
04:43You won't get away
04:53You're annoying
04:54Gotta try hard sometimes
04:56Check out this awesome move
05:03You won't get away
05:07You still don't understand
05:09You know, I didn't know that it's designed to control the headings
05:11An unknown exception
05:27Too bad
05:32Eric?
05:33Hey, rat
05:34How could you come here by yourself?
05:37Don't you know how dangerous this place is?
05:39Mila!
05:41Uh...
05:41You aren't the possum-y
05:43I can go wherever I want
05:45It's none of your beeswax
05:48You took the materials and hid them all here
05:51Not bad, kid
05:52But if we didn't take care of those monsters
05:54What were you planning to do?
05:56Just stay here?
05:58Shaking in your boots?
05:59Who asked you to do anything?
06:01I was just about to escape
06:03I didn't need your help at all
06:05Still stubborn, huh?
06:07Then tell me
06:08How exactly were you going to get those big metal plates out of here past those monsters?
06:15There's always a way
06:22Don't be so polite to him
06:24Everyone in the underworld knows this brat is a no-good thief
06:27If I remember correctly, even the clothes you're wearing came off another kid's back
06:34About that
06:35Tell us
06:36What do you even want metal plates and gauze bandages for?
06:40We need them to save people
06:42200
06:45What?
06:49200 shield
06:51Are you kidding me?
06:52You want to negotiate?
06:59Not much, but I didn't bring my coin purse
07:01You're actually planning to give this little crook money?
07:05I'm telling you
07:06This is his same old trick
07:08No
07:08Not this time
07:11I really need money
07:15My daddy
07:18Pretending to use your dad again as an excuse
07:20If he knew about this
07:23You'd be in big trouble
07:25No
07:30Zilla, that's enough
07:33It's Eric, right?
07:35Here
07:35You can have this
07:38What's this?
07:40This is a metal given to me by the architects
07:42See that blue stone in the middle?
07:45That's a geomero crystal of the highest purity
07:49You need money for your family, right?
07:51Take this and show it to a knowledgeable buyer
07:54And they'll instantly know how valuable it is
07:59Thank you
08:00I
08:02But
08:03You'll have to promise me one thing
08:05You'll never steal other people's things again
08:08Promise?
08:10Bye
08:11I promise
08:12I'll never steal things again
08:15Then it's a deal
08:16If you go back on your promise
08:18I'm going to bring my silvermane guards with me
08:20And catch you myself
08:21Here
08:23Take the metal and go back to the town
08:25We already took care of any threat on the way
08:27I see
08:29Thank you
08:31Whoever you are
08:32You guys can't take all of these things
08:34You guys need to be careful too
08:36There seems to be something real scary in that house up on the hill
08:41Oh right
08:43The road across from the market is blocked
08:44If you want to go further
08:46You'll have to go to the shopping street
08:49Got it
08:50Thanks for the tip
08:53That object was pretty important to you
08:56Right?
08:57Are you sure you're okay just giving it to Eric like that?
09:01If it will make him change his ways
09:02It's more than worth it
09:05What if he doesn't?
09:07From a young age
09:08My mother taught me to be forgiving
09:09And to preserve the goodwill in people's hearts
09:12Even if I am but a small glimmer of light in this world
09:15I must try my best to shine brightly for others
09:18I must give him a chance, Zila
09:20Because other people can't
09:23I don't really get what you just said
09:26Anyway
09:28We should get moving
09:29Eric said that we need to take the shopping street to go any further
09:32I think I still remember where it is
09:35This way
10:02Is that all?
10:09Looks good
10:14This is the street, alright
10:16The orphanage should be at the end
10:20These shops and signs
10:21When do I feel like I've seen them before?
10:39Hold it
10:42Next up
10:42This has something
10:44Shit
10:44Look
10:47Shit
10:53How's it
10:54You are still waters of oblivion and I guide the wandering paths.
11:00How about this?
11:02You won't get away!
11:15One step closer to the stars.
11:25Easy.
11:38Practice target?
11:56One step closer to the stars.
11:57One step closer to the stars.
11:57One step closer to the stars.
12:02One step closer to the stars.
12:06With me out here, how can we lose?
12:10Let's go.
12:16You won't get away!
12:23You are made to be broken!
12:39Try that again!
12:41I have something for you.
12:42Try hard sometimes. Check out this awesome move!
12:54HAH!
12:55HAH!
12:59Half the work is all gisting.
13:01Bleeding as the dawn's deer.
13:03Gestion for oblivion.
13:07What's this?
13:09Better up!
13:10Come back to the series of Priskan Wadi or Maul.
13:20Perhaps you still don't understand.
13:22You know what I never consider as it's designed to control the heavens?
13:25And I'm no exception.
13:38You can't run!
13:43Try that again!
13:47Half the work is already done.
13:52My turn!
13:53Stay right there while I give you a present!
14:02I have something for you.
14:14You can't stop!
14:28Try that again!
14:30Try that again!
14:31Another journey begins.
14:33I'm still matters of oblivion. I got it wandering through.
14:37You won't get away!
14:38Just trying to solve this move.
14:41You can't you?
14:49It's over here.
14:49T-Pact!
14:53Is that all?
14:55Keep act.
15:12This beast is bleeding as the Dawn's dead, destined for oblivion.
15:16I told ya I could fight.
15:20Let's make it quick.
15:27Time for a detailed overview.
15:35Did you-
15:40Reach the end of the story in your own way.
15:45The entrance to the orphanage is up this way.
15:48He's wondering what the old place is like now.
15:50Maybe some things will still look familiar.
15:52Turn away!
15:53The stairs.
15:58You won't get away!
16:08Half the work is already done.
16:11And it's through the waters of oblivion, I guide the wandering stones.
16:15I told ya I could fight with me out here!
16:17How could you lose?
16:19Let's go.
16:25Perhaps you still don't understand.
16:28You already know the person is it's designed to be there for the most.
16:31And I'm in my accession.
16:35Gotta try hard sometimes.
16:36Check out this awesome move!
16:45One step closer to the stars.
17:05Almost there!
17:07I didn't expect this place to be so well-pre-
17:10We made it!
17:12Hmm.
17:13It's been so-
17:15These crates have been sitting here for many years, right?
17:18Even if they have materials in them.
17:20Are you sure they are still usable?
17:22Do you think undergrounders care about expiration dates?
17:26Even having any supplies is a miracle in itself.
17:31No...
17:33No...
17:34Empty!
17:35How are they all empty?
17:36Who could've-
17:39Careful! Enemy behind you!
17:45I've only seen this kind of monster before in the restricted zone.
17:49Hmph.
17:50I don't care how big you are.
17:52You dare sneak up on us from behind.
17:55This is it for you, pal!
18:01This is where it ends.
18:06The system is bleeding as the dawn's day, destined for oblivion.
18:10You have the worst luck resting right there while I give you a present!
18:18Rules are made to be broken!
18:24Batter up!
18:28Try that again!
18:30Try that again!
18:34Combat is here. Precise method.
18:36Ha!
18:36Ha!
18:41Careful!
18:45With me out here, how could we lose?
18:49Let's make it quick.
18:52How about this?
18:56You can't stop!
19:01Try that again!
19:06Time for a detailed overhaul.
19:09You still don't understand.
19:12You already know the piece of milk that's designed to control the headings.
19:15And I'm no exception.
19:20I'm not scared.
19:26Fuck!
19:27Stay right there while I give you a present!
19:35We got a lot of nerves!
20:02Let's go.
20:07Huh? Rules are made to be broken!
20:18Huh. That was it?
20:24Nah. I couldn't take it on by myself.
20:27But still, fighting alongside you two was pretty fun.
20:32Should be all clear now. Let's poke around.
20:34The kids at the orphanage were always getting into scraps when we played out here.
20:39If I remember it right, there ought to be some supplies for our cuts and bruises stored in that corner
20:44there.
20:45I just hope the monster didn't get to them.
20:47It wasn't my imagination.
20:49Huh? What are you talking about?
20:52This building? This playground equipment? I've seen it all before.
20:59What? Come on. The Overground and Underground have been sealed off from each other for over ten years.
21:05It would have been news if a Silvermane guard had come down here, let alone an overworld princess.
21:13Wait. Unless... before that...
21:15Yes. It's a possibility.
21:18That would explain why my memory of it is so blurry.
21:21Come on. I need to look around a bit more before I can be sure.
21:28Keep at it.
21:35What's up here? Some kind of toy?
21:38Yep. You pick. Red or blue.
21:41Hmm. Blue.
21:43Look at this. After over ten years, my teeth marks are still here.
21:48Teeth marks?
21:50All right. Well, this one time, a big kid was trying to steal this toy from me.
21:55I could not wrestle him for it, so I just spit down hard and hung on for dear life.
22:00Hmm. How boorish.
22:11We've looked everywhere but here. I hope my memory is right.
22:15It's...
22:16Ah! Yes! We found it!
22:19Great! And it's barely damaged.
22:21Nat wouldn't have expected her old supplies from years ago to have stayed in such good condition.
22:26You should still check the expiration date for things like rubbing alcohol.
22:29If it's expired, it won't be effective.
22:31Hmm. True.
22:32Let me check a few bottles.
22:34Huh? What's this?
22:37This is...
22:40This is...
22:41Something from when I was a child.
22:45When you were a child?
22:47Are you sure?
22:56Yes.
22:58I remember now.
22:59I used to live here before the architects took me away.
23:06Before Madame Coccolia adopted me.
23:08I used to live here.
23:12I'm an undergrounder.
23:15You're...
23:16An undergrounder?
23:18Wait a minute.
23:20You're saying that Coccolia, the Supreme Guardian, adopted you?
23:26Then...
23:27Yes.
23:28I'm the successor chosen by the architects.
23:31In the future, I will become the guardian who leads Bellabog.
23:43My childhood memories are so blurry.
23:50The architects said that the guardian's successor is selected from among all people in Bellabog.
23:55The selection process can take anywhere from a few years to a few decades.
23:59During that time, all children of the appropriate age in both the Overworld and the Underworld will be tested.
24:06In the end, only one child deemed as worthy will be chosen.
24:11I...
24:11I must have been chosen from among the children here and then taken to the surface.
24:22The kids at the orphanage are always coming and going.
24:26I never thought that there would have been a future Supreme Guardian among us.
24:31Does Nat know about this?
24:33Could she have been keeping it...
24:35I don't think she knows.
24:38The selection of the successor is done with utmost secrecy.
24:43And the child chosen must completely say goodbye to their past.
24:46And thus...
24:48I became the daughter of Madame Coccolia.
24:52My only identity is that of guardian's successor.
24:55But...
24:56I'm not good enough.
24:57Every day I see silvermane guards sacrifice their lives in the fragmentum.
25:01But I've never had the resolve to try to change Mother's mind.
25:04The Underworld has been struggling, but I never tried to help.
25:08I didn't even know that it was my own home that had fallen into such a dire state.
25:13In the end, I haven't been able to guard anything.
25:18How could they have thought that I was worthy to be the successor?
25:21Hey, are you done?
25:23Huh?
25:26Well, well, well.
25:28So annoying.
25:30I...
25:31What?
25:35What?
25:36You thought I should feel sorry for you after your little speech?
25:40You can hide in your palace while you fuss over your overworld problems.
25:44And on the front line, it's not even you who's putting their life in danger.
25:48But in the Underworld, what do we worry about?
25:51If we'll have food for our next meal or survive to the next week?
25:57Even if I am but a small glimmer of light in this world, I must try my best to shine
26:03brightly for others.
26:05Didn't you say that?
26:07Well, if you really want to protect everyone, what are you standing here crying for?
26:12Get to it!
26:15You're right.
26:17You're right.
26:18Self-pity doesn't help solve anything.
26:23Scylla, usually when I feel sorry for myself, I am met with gentle consolation.
26:29Never has anyone dared to be tough and make me snap out of it.
26:35I'm no good at consoling, but I can hit you on the head a few times, no problem.
26:40I can tell that you have a big burden to carry.
26:44Why do you force yourself to?
26:48As the successor to the Guardian of Balabog, I must always be vigilant of my behavior and thoughts.
26:54Yeah, yeah. Lady Brawnya.
26:58Miss Future Supreme Guardian comes from the same orphanage as me.
27:03Who thought it would be a good idea to put us together, huh?
27:05How about I show you around the orphanage a bit more?
27:08And like you, my memories from when I was little are crystal clear.
27:13Okay. I'll indulge in old memories with you for a while.
27:23I should let those two be alone for a bit.
27:26I should let those two be alone for a bit.
27:28The only thing left to find is painkillers.
27:31I'll see if there's any nearby.
27:33Okay.
27:35Okay.
27:43Pulse. It's here. We found it. Thank you, Perkins.
27:50Warning. Warning. Danger detected.
27:57Protect Clara. Initiating active defense mode.
28:00Perkins, don't. Stop.
28:03I've seen this person before. He's not bad, right?
28:08Command, receive. Danger removed.
28:10Deactivating active defense mode.
28:13This place is dangerous. You should leave.
28:19Oh. I came here for these painkillers, too.
28:24There are a lot of people hurt at the Vagrant camp.
28:27I guess the miners are no different?
28:32If everyone could just get along, things would be easier.
28:39Here you are.
28:41I hope the medicine is of health to you.
28:47No.
28:49Mr. Svarag. He...
28:52He's my family.
28:54I met Mr. Svarag when I was real little.
28:56He took me in and took care of me.
28:58I'm really sorry about what happened back in the Great Mine.
29:02Mr. Svarag doesn't trust any humans besides me.
29:06Especially everyone from Wildfire.
29:12He heard that the miners and Vagrids had begun to engage in a large-scale conflict.
29:17He wanted to stop everyone from getting hurt fighting over the mines.
29:21Wildfire wants everyone to leave the underground.
29:24But Mr. Svarag wants everyone to stay here.
29:27According to his calculations, the overground is already unsafe.
29:36Mr. Svarag is very stubborn.
29:40He says that his responsibility is preservation.
29:43To do that, he must make decisions that best protect humanity.
29:52I know that Wildfire wants to talk to Mr. Svarag.
29:55But no matter how many times you talk to him, Mr. Svarag won't change his mind.
30:01So please trust me.
30:03I'll try to persuade Mr. Svarag.
30:05Hopefully one day he'll finally listen.
30:09Clara!
30:11What are you doing here?
30:14You're...
30:14Miss Zila from Wildfire.
30:23Why are you helping the Vagrants look for medicine?
30:27If they're so great, how could they make a little girl go around running errands for them?
30:32No, it's not like that.
30:34I wasn't made to do anything.
30:37It's just that the living conditions for the Vagrants aren't great.
30:41There's not even a clinic in their camp.
30:44So I wanted to help them out.
30:46Also, not all of them are bad people.
30:50Everyone just wants to survive.
30:53Miss Zila, did this medicine belong to Miss Natasha?
30:58Then, can you give me some?
31:01The Vagrant's injuries are quite serious.
31:04I see.
31:06Let's split these painkillers then.
31:08Really?
31:10We don't need to ask Miss Natasha first?
31:12If I know not, she won't mind.
31:15Although, this will make it more difficult for us.
31:19She'll understand.
31:20She always does.
31:21Great!
31:22Thank you, Miss Zila.
31:23Are you leaving?
31:25This old town is too dangerous.
31:27We'll accompany you part of the way.
31:29It's fine.
31:30I have Perkins for company.
31:33And...
31:33I have some more things I need to look for here first.
31:38Understood.
31:39Be careful, though.
31:49Looks good.
31:56Metal plates and bandages.
31:58Rubbing alcohol.
32:00Painkillers.
32:01Great!
32:02That's everything.
