00:00I want to talk about Bridge-O-Mae.
00:01Yeah, let's go.
00:02How exciting is it being on such an established show with great actors
00:06and having to just, I don't know, be yearned over.
00:09It's nice to be yearned over, I will say that.
00:12And to be part of such a successful global show was really nerve-wracking.
00:17But when you're surrounded by people that just want to see you soar
00:20and want to see you do a good job, it's easy.
00:23Very different vibe from Australia where you really have to earn your place.
00:27Yeah.
00:27You know, sometimes if you win too high, too fast, you get cut back down.
00:31Syndrome a little bit, yeah.
00:34What is the difference that you've seen the most being on set in America?
00:38Well, I mean, it's an American production, but we're shooting it in the UK
00:42and it's all like UK people and stuff most of all.
00:46So they're just there to make sure that I need everything that I feel to do my best.
00:53And, yeah, everyone is treated equally and just like a big family.
00:58And you get to see castles.
00:59Get to see really rich houses, mansions, real estate.
01:03It's my favourite thing because I know that in Australia,
01:06buildings are only ever going to be like 100, 200 max.
01:09Exactly.
01:10And now it's 2,000 years old.
01:11The century, the history of the houses is really, really old.
01:16So, yeah, I can't believe that some of them still exist.
01:19In your career as well, because we're celebrating being an actor this evening,
01:22was there a moment where you're like, my friends aren't going to believe this.
01:26This is so cool.
01:28You mean attending this tonight?
01:30Just something that's happened so far in your career, the pinch me moment.
01:33Probably booking Bridgerton.
01:35Yeah, that one that my friend screamed on the street when I FaceTimed her.
01:39And I was like, don't tell anyone.
01:41And she was like, I've told everyone.
01:43Yeah, exactly, on the street.
01:44I was like, fantastic.
01:45When did you find out about that one?
01:47Uh, mid-year 2024.
01:50How much has life changed?
01:52I mean, also, not that much.
01:54But, like, I mean, being able to come to these things, I think,
01:57is really, really nice.
01:58And feeling like I'm getting rewarded for my work
02:02and all the work that I put in the past couple years.
02:04So, yeah.
02:05Hell yeah.
02:06Yeah.
02:06So, yeah.
