00:00they were still playing obviously when we won so it was like um oh they still had to win too
00:04yeah right yeah so uh but they were so happy for us like we saw them in the i mean

00:12just so pumped up for us and um they were but you know they like said we were inspirations to

00:17know for them to get gold and obviously both coming back with gold is you know the the best
00:22we could have done but yeah you can speak more to like i know you talked to jack and in
00:25the calf
00:25after and yeah and he's told this story we we were both in the pasta line i think they had
00:31just had a late game and and we were all together as a group getting ready to go go out
00:36and have
00:36some fun and he just gave me the biggest hug congratulated me told me how proud he was of
00:41our group and um a few nights later they they ended up winning gold too and saw him in the
00:47cafeteria
00:48again and i got to give him a hug and congratulate them and i think when we all were hanging
00:53out in
00:53the cafeteria after we both won like charlie mcavoy's in there congratulating every single
00:58person on our team like he could not have been yeah he's just the nicest guy and i'm like you
01:03won
01:04too like congrats he's like no you did it yeah but yeah honestly the the genuine friendships that we
01:11created like all month when we were there like to be able to be a part of history both usa
01:17men's and
01:17women's bringing home gold together for the first time like that's gonna stick with us forever
