00:01The U.S. continues its assault on Iran, launching a barrage of Tomahawk missiles from this U.S. Navy ship
00:07in an undisclosed location.
00:09And for a third straight day, smoke billowed from the skyline of the Iranian capital, a result of U.S.
00:16and Israeli strikes.
00:17With more U.S. forces headed to the Middle East at the White House, President Trump said the attacks would
00:23continue for at least four to five weeks,
00:25and that the justification for striking Iran was twofold.
00:28But they ignored those warnings and refused to cease their pursuit of nuclear weapons.
00:34In addition, the regime's conventional ballistic missile program was growing rapidly and dramatically,
00:40and this posed a very clear, colossal threat to America and our forces stationed overseas.
00:47In a video over the weekend, Trump told Iranians who were celebrating the death of the country's supreme leader to
00:52rise up and take over their country.
00:54But on Monday, Trump's Secretary of Defense said the aim of the U.S. was not regime change and refused
01:01to rule out putting U.S. troops on the ground.
01:03This is not a so-called regime change war, but the regime sure did change.
01:09In response, Iran has struck back with missiles targeting Israel and U.S. bases in the region, killing four U
01:16.S. soldiers in Kuwait.
01:17The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said he expects more U.S. casualties in the coming weeks.
01:23We expect to take additional losses, and as always, we will work to minimize U.S. losses.
01:30But as the secretary said, this is major combat operations.
01:34As for allegations that Iran was on its way to reconstituting its nuclear program,
01:39which Trump claimed to have obliterated in strikes back in June,
01:42Iran's ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency said the accusation was untrue.
01:48Their justification that Iran wants to develop nuclear weapons is simply a big lie.
01:55Meanwhile, Iranian state media reported that a hospital in northern Tehran was badly damaged in U.S. and Israeli airstrikes,
02:02along with a police station in the capital.
02:04That followed strikes that hit a school located near a military site in southern Iran,
02:09which Iranian state media said killed dozens of children on Saturday.
