00:00What is the safety of our service personnel and all UK citizens in the region?
00:06Obviously concerned, we're talking about a significant number of UK personnel
00:10and our priority in this situation has to be the safety of our service personnel and all UK citizens in
00:17the region.
00:18Obviously it's concerning, as I understand, two drones, one of which was intercepted.
00:22And I think it underlines that we need to now see clear leadership from the Prime Minister.
00:26He's sort of been flaky, does he support it or not? He's changed permission in terms of using air bases.
00:31We need clear, strong leadership because it's a very serious situation which is clearly escalating.
00:37We need to be ensuring we have the capability in the region to defend our bases
00:40and I think we need to be strong in supporting our close allies, the United States, in this situation.
