00:16Iran claims it has struck the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,
00:21and says his whereabouts are now unknown.
00:24Here's what we know.
00:25Iran's powerful military arm, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC,
00:32announced that its latest wave of ballistic missile strikes targeted Netanyahu's office,
00:37along with the location of the Israeli Air Force commander.
00:41The claim surfaced through IRGC-affiliated outlets, including Tasnim News Agency,
00:46and quickly spread across social media, amplified by accounts such as Clash Report on X.
00:52Iran is calling it a surprise strike, and notably, they say Netanyahu's fate is unclear.
00:59But here's the critical detail.
01:01There is no independent confirmation from Israeli, U.S., or neutral sources that Netanyahu's office was successfully hit, or that
01:10he is missing.
01:11In fact, until recently, Netanyahu had been publicly active, issuing statements, vowing to intensify strikes, and declaring operations would continue
01:20in the heart of Tehran.
01:22This dramatic claim comes just days after a massive escalation.
01:26Around February 28, joined U.S.-Israeli strikes hit deep inside Iran.
01:32According to regional reports, those strikes killed Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei,
01:38along with multiple senior IRGC commanders and defense officials, effectively decapitating much of Iran's military leadership.
01:45The U.S. Central Command, United States Central Command, even declared key IRGC headquarters destroyed.
01:53Iran responded with multiple waves of missiles and drones, claiming to have targeted U.S. bases across the region and
01:59key Israeli military infrastructure.
