00:03So this is Gaurav Gupta. He's a South Asian designer.
00:06And for me, I interpreted the theme reimagining old Hollywood, 20s and 30s as, you know, I'm the reimagining.
00:14And all the artists of color here tonight are the reimagining.
00:16People look like us when really a part of old Hollywood in the 20s and 30s, you know.
00:20So I think being able to come here and be here and take up space in this way is kind
00:26of radical and kind of cool.
00:28That's a beautiful answer. And it's really been a beautiful season of The Pit so far.
00:32I feel like there's always funny moments, but also so many emotional moments this season.
00:37What is it like getting to bring these stories to the screen?
00:40I mean, it's just the biggest gift. I've always wanted to tell stories that matter and stories that are near
00:45and dear to my heart.
00:46And so much of what's on The Pit, you know, really aligns with that.
00:50So I feel very lucky that this is, you know, a job I get to have.
00:54And the fans are very passionate.
00:56Do you ever see any of the fan edits or fan TikToks about Dr. Mohan?
00:59I'm very online. I mean, I love the Internet before the show.
01:04I will continue to love the Internet after the show.
01:06I don't really seek it out, but it's just sort of like there.
01:10And I mean, it's it's it's cool.
01:12I mean, I always say it's art.
01:14Like, I really think people making these things as art, you know, they're putting effort and intention and and so
01:20much love into it.
01:21And so I just like that's how I view it.
01:23Like our arts making other people make art.
01:26Do you see the fans ever shipping characters and you're kind of like, OK, what are we doing?
01:30I mean, like I just kind of think it's like fun.
01:34You know, it's just fun.
01:35Like I love that people have their fun with the show.
01:39And yeah, I mean, like however they choose to interpret it.
01:42I mean, that's like the thing, like as an artist, you like put this thing out there and then, you
01:47know, it's it's not even yours anymore.
01:48It becomes someone else's and it brings them comfort and fun and joy in a different way.
01:52So, yeah, I mean, like obviously there's like ships out there where I'm like, I don't see it.
01:57But you know what?

01:59There's ships are like the two people haven't talked.
02:02Like I remember I saw one that was like Javadi and Dr. Shen.
02:05And I genuinely don't think those characters talked in season one.
