Thousands of people attended funeral prayers in the early hours of Monday (March 2) for protesters killed in clashes outside the U.S. consulate in Karachi, as the death toll from violent demonstrations across Pakistan over the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rose to at least 23.
