00:12The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department, JBPM, said teams from Bukit Jalil and Sri Petaling fire stations were dispatched
00:20immediately after the emergency call.
00:22Senior Operations Commander Mohamed Azizi Abdullah said firefighters extinguished the fire using a single initial attack hose line.
00:31The boy's body was found charred inside a room and later handed over to police for further investigation.
00:38The victim reportedly lived with his mother, though her condition or whereabouts remain unconfirmed.
00:44The fire, which destroyed about 80% of a 20 by 40 foot area, was fully controlled by 3.17pm.
00:52Thirteen firefighters, two fire rescue tender vehicles and one emergency medical rescue services vehicle were involved.
01:00The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
