A 36-year-old man was found dead after a fire destroyed his house on Jalan Kampung Baru Liman Kati, Kuala Kangsar, Perak, early Thursday morning (Aug 29).

00:08The Fire and Rescue Department received a call about the blaze at 1.10 a.m. on Thursday.
00:14Kuala Kangsar Fire and Rescue Station Chief Ahmad Izwan Zakaria reported that firefighters
00:20arrived to find the house approximately 90 percent engulfed in flames.
00:26The victim's charred body was later discovered in the kitchen.
00:30Health Ministry personnel confirmed the victim's death.
00:34The victim's body was handed over to the police for further action.
00:37The operation, involving 18 firefighters, concluded at 2.15 a.m.
