00:00All right. So let's get to Colorado here, Sam. And we'll end with a state that's looking to
00:05limit some props and some ads. And I think that they're being progressive about this.
00:10These things generally do come with a fight, by the way, with state legislation and also the
00:15sports betting operators as well. But given everything that's happened in the sports betting
00:18landscape, I don't think we're ever going to see a stoppage of folks trying to ban props or limit
00:26props, given what's happened in college sports and also, of course, in Major League Baseball.
00:32Yeah, there will definitely be a fight in Colorado if this bill progresses.
00:36It would actually ban all types of proposition bets, not just player props. It defines a proposition
00:43bet as a bet concerning the performance of an individual athlete participating in an event
00:48or combination of events, the outcome of which depends on the occurrence or non-occurrence
00:53of a specific act, statistics, performance, event, or circumstance, including any outcome
01:00other than the final result or score of an athletic event. So that language basically means you can't
01:05bet on the first team to score, the race to 10 points, first basket. I think what we might see
01:10is because of the lobbying fight, sports books will say, actually, you need to change this language
01:14if you really want to limit prop bets to player props only. It has to not be so broad and
01:19interpreted
01:19this way. But beyond that, banning prop bets is something that sports books will really fight
01:24hard against. Interesting to see a state like Colorado come out and propose something kind of,
01:29you know, so, so vast that the sports betting industry obviously would not want.
01:34But we'll keep seeing what happens with this bill. It'll be really interesting to watch.
