00:00Yeah, so I've just won the Isle of Man Sportswoman of the Year.
00:05And how does that feel, saying that? Because I know you've won a lot of sports, I mean, you've been
00:08a champion, so all other things.
00:09How does this compare to that?
00:11It feels amazing. Just to get the sport that I do to win this award is great, because it's such
00:20a small sport.
00:22And to get that recognition for all my achievements, it feels like a great, I don't know, a great sort
00:31of goal that I've achieved.
00:34And I think there's a lot of you girls who, on the other hand, might be thinking, what can I
00:38get into you, what can I do?
00:39How much would you all see them all end up being involved in your sport?
00:43Honestly, it would mean a lot to me, because I came into the sport when I was 10.
00:52And yes, it's very difficult to get into, and it's quite an expensive sport.
00:57It's such a great community to be involved with, and there's always someone there to give you the support to
01:04get involved and try out new things in this sport.
01:06And you've done some amazing things, honestly. You've picked up some unbelievable medals. I'm lucky enough to be speaking to
01:12you now.
01:13Tell us, what's the biggest knowledge? Something that stands out for you, anything in particular?
01:16I think European champion. I think it's just, it's to have that champion on the end of the achievement.
01:26I've tried for a few years, but finally got it, and to say I've been European champion is just amazing.
01:32I think if I saw you walking down the stretch of the street, I don't know what sport you do
01:36or what you do.
01:37What would you say to people who were perhaps in a position that you were in when you were a
01:40lot younger, that might think, oh, it's not possible, it's not achievable?
01:45Yeah, honestly, I just got into it through coincidence of seeing someone down the street that chatted to me and
01:51said, oh, I've got one of them.
01:54But it's all over YouTube, all over social media. Just get in touch, and you'll be out next week on
02:01someone's bike, having a go, and loving it.
02:04And just finally then, what would you say to your, in 10, 20 years now, in the future, is there
02:12anything you want to have achieved?
02:13Is there anything you're really looking forward to accomplishing?
02:16I think the biggest one is to try and get more people into the sport. I mean, I've achieved a
02:23lot of things that I definitely didn't think I would, and obviously I still want to achieve more.
02:30But I think just seeing the younger riders now achieve those goals that they also have would be amazing.
