01:12So I had a feeling the first lap might be a bit lively here in Valencia.
01:16Oh, and there's several cars involved there.
01:20That is a real shame because that's Max Mutschleimer for target competition.

01:26He's got together with Nikola Milkovic.
01:28There's a lot of damage there.
01:30Mutschleimer's car is into the barrier.
01:33You can see a wheel that's been torn off in the gravel track.
01:37We can see Nikola Milkovic walking away from his car.
01:41So we've had a big drama there at the start of this race.
01:46Let's have a look and see.
01:48And it looks as though, well, it was kind of two cars getting together.
01:54One hooked around.
01:55I think it was Nikola Milkovic who lit up the rear tires.
01:59But there were other cars involved in that.
02:02I think one of the Ombra racing cars was in there as well.
02:04And we've got a red flag.
02:06So red flag is out.
02:08That means that everything is going to be brought to a stop.
02:11The cars will return to the pit lane.
02:13So clearly the race stewards feel as though there's a bit more work that needs to be done.
02:20It may well be that the barrier's got some damage.
02:22It may well be they've decided that there's just too much debris on the track for the cars to run
02:28through.
02:29So the cars are brought back to the pit lane.
02:33The red flag is out.
02:34So it means the clock stops and everything will go quiet while that mess is cleared up.
02:41But what a shame.
02:43We've already lost certainly two cars from that.
02:47Max Muchschlechner, get that correct, in the number 16 target competition car.
02:53And Nikola Milkovic in a treble one car.
02:57We can see that the drivers are out of their cars.
03:00So I don't think there's any issues there with injuries or anything.
03:04But the red flag just allowing the track crew to clear the debris and to make sure that everything is
03:13square and safe, ready to go.
03:16You can see bits of broken carbon loaded into the back of a pickup truck.
03:21And the cherry pickers are out already, getting ready to clear these cars out.
03:27But that's a real shame.

03:35And right, well, let's have a look at the start.
03:38It wasn't a great start for Jack Young, but it was a very good start for Milan Marchak.
03:43And we can see Walter Boerkampz as well there, ducking to the outside.
03:47And then putting his car into a closing gap up in front of him into turn one.
03:53I think it was into turn one where we thought some of the problems might be.
03:58And look at Boerkampz to the inside of Jack Young there, going into that corner.
04:03And Jelterhoffner taking a very wide line as they circulated around this opening lap.
04:10Jack Young did get that position back, I think.
04:14Well, actually, let's have a look at this incident.
04:18And, oh, yeah, Max Muchschlechner actually collected.
04:23He was an innocent party in that accident.
04:26He collected the Nikola Milkovich car that was already stationary in the middle of the track.
04:34And very much an innocent party.
