00:48your damage indicator. If that thing starts to flash, you're getting seriously close to
00:52wiping out. To dodge a wreck, you need a pit lane. Drive through that and your car is fully
00:57restored, and you're ready to rock and roll.
01:25Hey, let's talk about boosts. You've got a boost meter.
01:28Build it up by doing sweet things like drafting behind cars, drifting through turns, catching
01:34air, driving through pit lane, and slamming and wrecking other cars. When this meter is
01:39full, then you have access to the magic button. Alright, unleash that boost and get ready for
01:45some crazy fast speed.
02:10So, what can I tell you about drifting that you don't already know? How about everything?
02:14Drifting is for super tight corners when the car loosens up on you. And if you can master
02:18this, you can own out on the track. To start a sweet slide, when the car breaks loose, just
02:23hold down the drift button and yank the wheel in one direction or the other. The cooler and
02:27the longer the drift, the more power you earn for your boost meter. Powering out of a drift
02:31also amps up your speed, so if you want to win, learn to drift.
02:50Heads up, it's time to talk challenges. Keep an eye out for these, and when you see one pop up
02:54on
02:55screen, just do whatever the challenge says before the timer runs out. Sometimes they're a cakewalk,
02:59other times not so much. Just focus, and if you've got the skills, you'll be alright. Completing a challenge
03:05fills your boost meter a ton. Not completing a challenge, well, it doesn't do much for you.
03:35We're all keeping score. The best way to earn that score is to dominate out on the track. Cause as
03:39much
03:39trouble as you can by slamming into other cars. To really own, build up a sweet boost, and then use
03:43it
03:44to smash into a car. Wrecking cars get you mad points, but also turns them into rivals, making them
03:48really aggressive. You'll know a rival when you see them by the red tag above the car, so watch out.
03:53If someone causes you to wreck, they'll also be marked for you by a green tag. When you spot them,
03:57get some
03:57revenge and score a payback for some serious bonus points.
