00:05by some users as dirty and unsafe. St Martin's Queensway links New Street and Moore Street
00:12stations and is one of the busiest walking routes in the city centre. People using the
00:17underpass have raised concerns about antisocial behaviour, drug use, rough sleeping and litter.
00:23The walkway is owned by Hammerson which also controls the Bullring and Grand Central.
00:29The council says it's working with partners including police on longer term plans but
00:35significant improvements are not scheduled to begin until early 2029,
00:40with proposals including upgraded lighting and wider footpaths.
