18:29officers that you have had some recent conversations with him is that correct that is correct he started
18:35calling me in July I hadn't talked to him in a year maybe okay do you know what it all
18:40of a sudden
18:40triggered him wanting to reach out to you in July it has to do with a family issue and it's
18:50a huge problem
18:55police say 59 year old Dr Richard Warren was at his Beachwood home after cutting short a planned
19:01overseas vacation due to motion sickness his wife Jane returning from the trip Thursday to find the
19:07house locked with no answer police discovered the podiatrist body upstairs with at least five gunshot wounds
19:19going back to what we were discussing before about these conversations that you've had with him
19:26Richard was very upset about his relationship with his brother how so his father and his mother
19:34lived with his brother and Richard hasn't seen them in a year and my brother and sister-in-law are
19:39taking care
19:39of them and something between them happened about a year and a half ago I don't know what it is
19:45okay but
19:46clearly I think you can imagine that it had something to do with Richard's not being there for them had
19:54he
19:54changed his will or anything like that he wanted his wife substituted in okay so he wanted his wife then

20:01won't go into detail but yes something to that nature anything else that I should be aware of Richard has
20:09been in a very bad place for a very long time and this is not a secret he was a

25:44Beachwood police officers discovered the body of 59 year old Richard Warren at his residence on
25:50Brett Wood Road the victim died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds there was no forced entry
25:57to the home and the circumstances at the scene were not indicative of a random incident committed
26:02by a stranger that scene was turned over to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation for evidence
26:09collection and investigation I'm sure I speak for the entire Beachwood community when I say that our
26:15thoughts are with the Warren family and their friends after this tragic and senseless event
26:26Richard's two sons how do they threaten him to chop them up to chop up their own father
26:33and they hit him how long ago about three years ago and which which one of the boys said it

40:25Two men are dead in South Euclid following an overnight standoff involving SWAT.
40:30And this could all be tied to the murder of a doctor in Beachwood.
40:33The standoff lasted nearly 12 hours and no officers were hurt as gunfire was exchanged.
40:39Neighboring homes had to be evacuated and power was even cut.
40:42The medical examiner identified the deceased occupants of the home to indeed be Michael
40:48Warren, 31 years of age, and Mark Warren, 29 years of age.
40:52The cause of death for both was determined to be suicide.
40:57Michael and Mark Warren are suspected to be responsible for the death of their father.
41:02Detectives are taking steps to conclude the investigation and are confident that once
41:07the evidence is fully processed, it will reveal that Michael and or Mark Warren committed this
41:13to try.
41:57And today we remember with tremendous love Richard, who was simply the best.
