Kalshi Bans Candidate, Editor Over Trading Violations

00:12Kyle Langford was fined and banned from Kalsher for five years after posting a video appearing
00:16to show him betting on his own gubernatorial victory. He later filed to run for a House
00:21seat as a Democrat. Kalsher fined Artem Kaptur and suspended his account for two years after
00:26he traded about $4,000 on markets tied to Mr. Beast's videos while employed by the YouTube
00:31star. A spokesperson for Beast Industries said the company bars employees from using
00:36proprietary information in prediction market wagers and has launched its own investigation.
00:41Bobby Deneau, head of enforcement, said Kalsher collected evidence, followed its disciplinary
00:46process and determined there was sufficient evidence of trading violations in both cases.
