00:18Trump has largely dismissed the concept of affordability
00:22and the word affordability.
00:24And so here you had him leaning into
00:27at least talking about affordability.
00:30This is something that Republicans have wanted him to do
00:33over the last many months.
00:35He lauded a drop in grocery prices, egg prices, beef prices.
00:40The problem, of course, is that some prices have gone down.
00:44A lot of prices have stayed the same.
00:46And many prices that Americans see at the grocery store
00:49have gone up.
00:50The number one issue for Americans
00:53in terms of cost is healthcare.
00:56It far and away outpaces groceries and housing
01:01and the president offered no real solutions
01:05to that anxiety that Americans are facing.
