00:03So I'm currently in Baniário, Brasil, Santa Catarina.
00:06Santa Catarina as a whole, from what I've experienced so far, I've enjoyed it.
00:09Up until this city, I felt like this is the least Brazilian city that I've been to so far.
00:15I've not heard Pagogi, I've not heard Samba, I've not heard Forho, Emi Pibé, Ehi Bé, Funk, I've not heard

00:22The only genre of music I've heard is Reggaeton, and I love Reggaeton, but where am I?
00:27Today I've heard more Spanish than Portuguese.
00:30If you just drop me here and ask me where are you right now, I wouldn't say Brazil.
00:34Because the shoreline is nice, but there's a shoreline in Masao, there's a shoreline in Jaupiso,
00:38there's a shoreline in Fortaleza, which are beautiful as well.
00:41And I feel like everything here is just overdone.
00:43This is a rich person's playground, I'm sure they absolutely love it here.
00:46The last time I saw this many Porsches or Lamborghinis was when I was in London.
00:50For me, when I think of Brazil, it's not this.
00:53So they say outside of Africa, Brazil has the highest population of black people.
00:56So of course, Brazilians, they're used to seeing black people, right?
00:59So tell me why yesterday, and I kid you not, and this was not due to my videos,
01:02someone asked to take a picture of me, and if it's not due to you knowing me,
01:06then the only reason why you could be taking a picture of me is because of my skin colour.
01:09Like this stuff happens in China, I never thought it would happen in Brazil.
01:13So whilst editing, I was watching the video back and I think I need to make a key point here.
01:17This happened with someone that was not Brazilian.
01:19There's a country that is very close by and they like to frequent there.
01:22I have nothing against this country at all. As black people, we've got a whole nother story
01:26with that country. Some people from there, not gonna say all, seem to not like us.
01:30I did ask the person if they knew who I was in Spanish.
01:33They didn't. I knew the person didn't know who I was.
01:35It was only after the fact when I thought about it and thought,
01:37I'm not gonna say it was racism. I don't want to throw out the race card,
01:40but I don't want to be in a place where people don't see black people a lot,
01:43or maybe have never seen black people. So when they see a black person,
01:46they want to take a picture of them. To some black people, that's cool.
01:48Haha, let's take a picture. To me, that's not cool. And with Brazil being such a big country,
01:53it doesn't make sense me spending money to go back to that place.
01:56Filming me in Santa Catarina, I'd rather just go to Florianopolis.
01:58So yeah, I hope I got my point across to you. Let me know your thoughts on it.
