Her mission is simple but powerful: to turn parents’ moments of panic into moments of magic—through safe, natural, and thoughtfully made solutions.

For Lorina Tan, the belief has always been clear: every child is a tiny bud that deserves gentle, intentional care. Long before “clean” and “organic” became buzzwords, she championed natural baby care that’s accessible to Filipino families.

Beyond creating products for babies and kids through Tiny Buds, she also advocates for sustainable water access through the Drops of Hope Project—extending care beyond the home and into communities.

Lorina Tan—entrepreneur, marketing head, and advocate for mindful parenting.

00:00We always hear this from our moms. To be able to be there with a slew of solutions for them
00:07is really what gives me a lot of joy. Hi, I'm Lorin Tan, marketing of TinyBuds, and I am one
00:15of
00:16Smart Parenting's Game Changer Awardees. So, TinyBuds actually was founded by my mom. It is a
00:24female-led family business. Back then, natural ingredients were not too useful when it comes to baby care.
00:32So, she wanted to be able to provide that to the market but at a reasonable price. Whenever we
00:37release a product, it's really something that came from a little worry that a parent may have
00:44and that we can give a meaningful solution to. One of the things that sets us apart, I think,
00:50is really our advocacies. One of the projects we're truly proud of is called the Drops of Faux
00:55Project where a portion of proceeds goes into building sustainable water filters for barangays
01:02and communities in need. I have a personal goal for TinyBuds and my goal is one day I'm going to
01:09meet a parent and that parent is going to tell me, you know, when I was a kid, this is
01:14what my mom used
01:15on me. We want to be here for the long haul. Our promise to moms is no matter what you're
01:21going
01:21through, TinyBuds will be here growing with you.
