Taylor Whimpey say it will secure the future of local services.
But opposition say it's just about getting 450 homes approved on the peninsula.

01:09but a taylor wimpy spokesperson says that the proposed changes will strengthen the existing
01:16service by bringing additional passengers to the route and will help to improve long-term viability
