As a country we haven't covered ourselves in glory, with Remember Monday exiting with a 19th out of 26th place finished, but could Look Mum No Computer do any better?

00:08Remember Monday? Well, look now, there's a new face for the UK's Eurovision hopes
00:13called Look Mum, No Computer, who's from Ramsgate.
00:17Sam Battle will be facing off against the other Eurovision candidates in the 70th song
00:22contest that's been held in Vienna this May.
00:24The UK finished 19th out of 26 possible places last year with Remember Monday and viewers
00:31will be keen to see Look Mum, No Computer climbing the ranks.
00:35Look Mum, No Computer started out as the frontman of the indie rock band Zebra, which performed
00:40at Glastonbury back in 2015.
00:42And since then he's not only grown his solo career but his YouTube one as well.
00:47He's developed an online fanbase for building and playing unusual instruments like organs
00:51made from toys like Furbies and Game Boys, synthesizer bicycles, flamethrowing keyboards and a Star
00:57Wars droid orchestra.
00:59Aside from music, he's also developed a video game, held a TED talk and directs This Museum
01:04is Not Obsolete, a music technology venue that aims to keep the obsolete alive and evolving.
01:10Previously, the UK has had names like Sam Rider and Ollie Alexander and back in the day some
01:15entrants won the competition like Katrina and the Waves in 1997.
01:18But could No Computer's unusual style help him through the rounds?
01:22His music has been described as very synth heavy and electronic and he'll be entering
01:26as a solo artist, but we don't yet know with what song.
01:30The exact track will be announced in the coming weeks, but until then fans will have to wait
01:35to see what Look Mum, No Computer will be bringing to the world stage in May.
