00:05Amidst the Deepam Rao, Prime Minister all set to visit Madurai.
00:10That's the latest news break that is coming in.
00:12Prime Minister Modi may also visit the temple which was at the centre of the Deepam Rao.
00:18The Prime Minister's visit to Tamil Nadu is scheduled on the 1st of March
00:22and he will address a rally in Madurai.
00:25And word coming in right now that in all probability that the Prime Minister is all set to visit the
00:32Madurai temple as well.
00:35All of this comes in the wake of the massive controversy which took place just two months ago
00:41and has been in the court ever since where it came down to lighting a Deepak where the Madurai temple
00:48is concerned.
00:49And the Prime Minister on the 1st of March was to visit Tamil Nadu
00:54and it seems that in all probability where he addresses the rally in Madurai,
01:00he will be visiting the Madurai temple where the entire controversy took place.
01:05Joining me right now is my colleague Pramod Madhav.
01:08Pramod, the BJP trying to make this an election issue.
01:13The Prime Minister will be addressing a rally in Madurai and in all probability word coming in
01:18that he might pay a visit to the very same temple which ignited this massive controversy.
01:27It surely is Priti and just like you mentioned the Prime Minister is going to visit Tamil Nadu
01:31especially in Madurai on 1st of March.
01:33In fact, this is the second visit, a prominent visit after his visit to Madharadangam recently
01:37where he had all the NTA alliance party leaders including TTV, Dhinagaran as well
01:41and this time he is going to speak in Madurai, a place close to a location called as Mandela
01:45and that's a place which is also much close to Tiruparangundram temple.
01:49Tiruparangundram temple is considered as the first of the six aborts,
01:52very holy place, shrines or places of Lord Murugan and atop this particular temple
01:56there is a hill or kundra and top of that only Deepatun is there.
02:01That turned out to be a huge controversy on one side.
02:03BJP and Hindumarini and the Hindu factions are constantly hitting at DMK for not going ahead
02:08and even after the court has said so allowing the particular petitioner to go and light the lamp over there.
02:13So that particular issue is still pertaining and amidst this we have come to know
02:17that the Prime Minister may visit and confirmation we will get by Thursday, Priti.
02:21All right, that confirmation coming in on Thursday, this will raise political temperatures
02:25where Tamil Nadu is concerned and my colleague Pramod Madhav is going to keep a keen eye on all developments.
02:30Thank you Pramod for that news break coming in from Tamil Nadu.
