00:00This gives us the impression that this is so uncertain what now the development will bring.
00:12This 15% is limited based on the Trade Act 1-2 for 150 days.
00:21And nobody knows what will happen after.
00:24And it's unclear if there will be additional measures or how the United States will really guarantee that the deal
00:35of somebody will be respected.
00:38And because of that, the clear majority of the shadows decided to change the agenda and postpone the vote on
00:53the two legislative files.
00:55So I would propose to delete these two votes tomorrow morning.
01:03But this means not that we never vote on that.
01:07No, we want to have clarity about the situation.
01:11We want to have clarity from the United States that they are respecting the deal.
01:17Because that's the crucial element, that we want to have stability.
01:22That's for trade relations important, but this is specifically important for investment.
01:34And therefore, we need really stability and predictability, and that we have to achieve.
01:41And let's see.
01:43The Commission is in close contact with the United States and myself as well.
01:48And we will have another shadows meeting next week, on Wednesday, to have a look how the development is going
01:58on.
01:58So we are sticking to the deal.
02:00The deal is a deal.
02:02But it has to be respected from the other side as well.
02:07And therefore, my proposal is to change the agenda and to take the vote on the two files for tomorrow.
