00:00Well, I think it's kind of like art doesn't necessarily have to be political, but then everything is no matter
00:10what you do.
00:11And since we can't really affect a genocidal situation with doing art, then we still have this spotlight that shines
00:21on us.
00:22Then I think it is important to shine a light on whatever issues we are facing with, because art is
00:29all about empathy and, you know, the people who can solve problems, politicians or millionaires who don't do anything but
00:39cause problems.
00:39Then it's maybe good to create some form of pressure or just to get people aware of whatever is happening
00:48in the world and what are the wrongs that are taking place, like war in Ukraine or genocide in Palestine.
00:54Yeah, and I agree. Anyway, since, of course, every film can't be about every topic in the world, and it
01:04doesn't need to be, but as grown-up human beings, I think we have a responsibility to speak up against
01:12violence and against injustice, because not speaking up is also a choice.
01:19And especially it's important that we don't need to be a choice, and especially it's important that we don't tell
01:21other fellow artists that they shouldn't speak up.
01:27And, yeah, when, you know, when tens of thousands of people are getting killed, no one can say, there's no
01:34excuse for that, ever.
01:37Yeah, and if art doesn't engage in it at all, then art is just escapism, and that's...
01:42Yeah.
01:43Thank you, Elia.
