00:00We should not feel intimidated by the risk of retaliation, because with or without doing what we are doing, these actions would go on.
00:11And at least there is a chance to mobilize the international community to put pressure for them not to happen.
00:18There has been a constant progress of the measures of the Israeli government in order to now completely destroy Gaza.
00:28And have a creeping annexation in the West Bank.
00:33So, I mean, the question is not the pretext that might be used.
00:36The question is the constant action that has been step by step being put in place by the government of Israel, not to allow the Palestinians to have a state.
00:50What is the alternative?
00:53A one-state solution in which millions of Palestinians either would be expelled or would be submitted to occupation, to subjugation, to discrimination, having no rights in their own land.
01:09This is totally unacceptable in the 21st century.
01:14And what we are witnessing in Gaza is horrendous.
01:18It is the worst level of death and destruction that I've seen in my time as Secretary General, probably in my life.
01:26When you have multipolarity and you do not have a multilateral system, the result was war.
01:36And so, as the world moves more and more into a multipolar situation, the truth is that multilateral institutions will be more necessary than ever.
