00:03When she would put her arms crossed in the kennel door, it aligned perfectly
00:09with where the gashes were. I just drive to the shelter and sit outside the
00:12kennels and just keep them company. I noticed there was a dog that had her
00:17paws outside of the kennel door.
00:26It just broke my heart. I put out a desperate plea on TikTok for some help.
00:32You okay? And that's when within 24 hours of me posting the video, Colleen commented on it and
00:41said that her and her husband drove all the way up from San Diego to save her.
00:45I actually sent that video to my husband right away and I was like,
00:48we'd have to get her. I was pretty emotional giving her a bath. I could feel
00:52every bone in her body. She was so sweet and she was so underweight. Her energy was
01:00super low. We would take her outside and play it for all of five minutes and she
01:06was exhausted afterwards because she just had no energy.
01:21After a couple of weeks of having her and really focusing on getting her stronger and healthier,
01:26now we're starting to see her true personality. Taking her everywhere and giving her these first
01:32experiences with us is very important. She does something new every single day and
01:38we're learning so much about her. It's been really cool.
01:40cool.
01:45you
