00:00In the meantime, House Speaker Faustino D. III expressed gratitude to the participants of the nationwide consultations on the proposed

00:08anti-political dynasty bill,

00:10highlighting that the strong support and principled opposition shown are hallmarks of a functioning democracy.

00:16The House Speaker commended the participants for their courage and effort in engaging in the national policy discussion,

00:23stating that the exercise can serve as a model for participatory governance and future legislation.

00:29The House Committee on Suffrage and Electoral Reform, who leads the said consultations, is currently consolidating 24 pending bills,

00:38this including House Bill No. 6771, filed by Speaker D. and House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos.
