00:21The top of the odds board for the AL pennant is terrible.
00:25I hate it. I really do.
00:27And it really comes down to Detroit.
00:28How do we have the Yankees, the Blue Jays, the Red Sox, and the Orioles,
00:33four teams from the AL East with better AL pennant odds compared to the Tigers,
00:38who are the favorites to win their own division?
00:40The Orioles have the fourth best odds to win the AL East,
00:44yet they have the fifth best odds to win the AL pennant.
00:47Some of the amount that just doesn't make sense.
00:49Again, I believe that the Yankees and the Blue Jays and the Mariners
00:52essentially should be in their own tier.
00:53If you told me that they're all co-favorites to win the AL,
00:56sure, there shouldn't be too much of a separation.
00:58Then you want to mix in the Red Sox.
01:00Then you want to mix in the Tigers.
01:02That's where it should be.
01:02It should be Tigers, Red Sox, actually.
01:04So I don't like looking to any of those top teams,
01:06especially not the Orioles.
01:07And Orioles, that team, as we talked about yesterday, Donnie,
01:09who have a 10-win jump from their win total last year to this year,
01:13and now we're putting them as higher favorites compared to the Tigers.
01:17I just don't like the AL odds board.
