00:00Seputeh MP Teresa Kok has called on Kuala Lumpur City Hall to install CCTV cameras at the parking area of
00:07Bukit Kiara Park
00:08after her car was broken into yesterday evening.
00:12In a Facebook post, Kok said she went jogging at the park at around 6.15pm
00:17and discovered the break-in when she returned to her car at about 7pm.
00:22She said the front passenger side window was broken and her handbag, which had been in the footwell, was missing,
00:29adding that she lost about RM2,000 in cash and angpang money, as well as her identity card, various credit
00:36cards, and other important documents.
00:39Kok said she immediately lodged a report at the Tamantun Dr. Ismail police station
00:44and forensic officers arrived shortly after to take photographs and lift fingerprints from her vehicle.
00:51Meanwhile, Brickfield's Deputy Police Chief Ahmad Firdaus Mustafa Kamal said
00:56investigators managed to lift fingerprints from Kok's car and were running it through a database to identify the suspect.
01:04In a statement, Firdaus said police are investigating the case for theft,
01:09adding that Kok suffered losses estimated at RM6,500.
