00:13The incident happened at 2.40pm at the Sultan Abu Bakar Customs Immigration and Quarantine
00:20Complex, known as KSAB, in Tanjung Kupang, Johor.

00:28According to Iskandar Puteri, OCPD Assistant Commissioner M Kumarasan, a car bearing a
00:35Malaysian registration number, was seen entering the heavy vehicle lane at gate C, a lane reserved
00:41for trucks and lorries heading into Singapore.
00:44When an auxiliary policeman directed the driver to make a U-turn back into the correct car
00:48lane, the driver refused to comply.
00:51Instead, the suspect hit the accelerator, crashing through the immigration checkpoint barrier
00:57and knocking over four traffic cones before speeding towards the exit point leading to
01:02Singapore.
01:03A CP Kumarasan says the case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for Mischief
01:10and Section 42, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.

01:24about the incident to come forward, either at the nearest police station or by contacting
