00:00You said that you were one of the players that spoke up in the meeting today.
00:03What did you sort of say to the team?
00:05What was kind of the overall message for that meeting today?
00:06I just talked about how I looked at the Dodgers from outside
00:11and what was my decision to come here.
00:14So I speak a little bit to the teammates and did it too, so it was pretty fun.
00:18What was the message?
00:19Just, you know, I talked to my brother, to Kiga, before I made the decision to come here
00:24and how I see the team from another clubhouse.
00:28And they look pretty nice in the field.
00:30And I heard they treat every player about the same inside the clubhouse.
00:34So that was one of the things I was looking for.
00:36Now that you've been here, I know it's only been a few days,
00:39but how would you just describe kind of what this experience has been,
00:43building these relationships, working with the catchers,
00:45and the conversations with the coaches, how it's been thus far?
00:47It's been great. It's been great, you know.
00:49I got really good communication with the pitching coaches.
00:52I haven't thrown to the catchers yet because they've been working with the other guys.
00:56But at the end of the day, you know, I want to be in the same place with them.
00:58So when I have the chance to throw to the catchers,
01:02I want to be in the same place with them and follow them and do my job.
01:05How important is this time just before you leave to go to Team Puerto Rico
01:09with the World Baseball Classic?
01:10Like, how do you have to kind of prioritize these?
01:13I'm not sure how much longer you have with the group, but just this time left.
01:16This time left, just get ready to go there and compete.
01:18You know, I got like two more weeks left here.
01:21So I think that's enough time to get ready, go there, play for Puerto Rico,
01:25and then come back and finish my spin training and ready for the season.
