00:01In their latest update on a historical corruption investigation, SA Police say they searched
00:07a property at Gawler South on Tuesday and another at West Richmond last month.
00:12The ABC has confirmed the West Richmond home is owned by Richard King, who served as APY
00:18General Manager from 2015 until last year, while the address at Gawler South belongs
00:23to one of his relatives.
00:25It's understood documents were seized from both homes by detectives.
00:28Mr King has told the ABC he's happy to cooperate and answer any lines of enquiry the investigators
00:34may have.
00:36The search has come after the APY Lands' offices in Oumuamua and an associated premises in Port
00:41Augusta were raided last November.
00:44In a statement, police say the investigation remains ongoing and no arrests have been made.
00:49The APY Lands was placed into administration for a three-month period last year after a
00:54conciliator found Mr King's reappointment to be invalid.
00:58The conciliator's report, which was tabled in State Parliament, concluded that a recruitment
01:03process to replace him was abandoned before his tenure was extended.
01:07A new general manager was appointed in December.
01:11The APY Lands' office was passed on September.
01:13The APY Lands' office is now taken a few years ago on September when the APY Lands' office
01:13was released.
01:13Even more, it was not big, you think a little bit of an internal inspection, but you can
01:13be successful.
