00:00In actuality, while I am sure that they did not mean to do so, the Supreme Court's decision today made
00:08a president's ability to both regulate trade and impose tariffs more powerful and more crystal clear rather than less.
00:18I don't think they meant that. I'm sure they didn't. It's terrible.
00:24And to think that the Democrats who oppose this only because they want to go the opposite way, they'd like
00:30to pack the court, they want to put on 21 people, they want to pack the court, pack the Supreme
00:35Court.
00:36Maybe they should do it. Maybe they would be better off if they did it. They want to pack the
00:41court. They want to do anything to hurt our country.
00:45There will no longer be any doubt. And the income coming in and the protection of our companies and country
00:53will actually increase because of this decision.
00:57I don't think the court meant that, but it's the way it is. Based on longstanding law and hundreds of
01:03victories, and even as I was pointed out before, even thousands of victories over the years.
01:09To the contrary, the Supreme Court did not overrule tariffs. They merely overruled a particular use of IEPA tariffs. And
01:20essentially, it's the use to get a fee.
01:23I can do anything I want with IEPA. Anything. I just can't charge anybody for it. I can license. I
01:31just can't charge them. It's ridiculous.
01:33But it's okay, because we have other ways, numerous other ways. The ability to block, embargo, restrict, license, or impose
01:44any other condition on a foreign country's ability to conduct trade with the United States under IEPA has been fully
01:54confirmed by this decision.
01:56So now there's no doubt, because, you know, there were a lot of questions about tariffs, because no president was
02:02smart enough to use them to protect our country from those countries and businesses that were ripping us off.
02:08You took a look at the deficits that we had with some of these countries. It was disgraceful what they
02:12got away with for many, many decades.
02:15But now we know, because this decision affirms all those things that some people weren't sure about. In order to
02:23protect, and it says so, in order to protect our country, a president can actually charge more tariffs than I
02:31was charging in the past period of a year under the various tariffs authorities.
02:39So we can use other of the statutes, other of the tariff authorities, which have also been confirmed and are
02:49fully allowed.
02:51Therefore, effective immediately, all national security tariffs under Section 232 and existing Section 301 tariffs.
03:01They're existing. They're there. Remain in place, fully in place, and in full force and effect.
03:10Today, I will sign an order to impose a 10 percent global tariff under Section 122, over and above our
03:18normal tariffs already being charged.
03:20And we're also initiating several Section 301 and other investigations to protect our country from unfair trading practices of other
03:32countries and companies.
03:35Thank you for your attention to this matter. And I say quite simply, which I've said for a long time,
03:43make America great again.
03:44And interestingly, we've already made it great. So I don't have to use that, but I don't think we'll ever
03:50give up on MAGA.
03:51MAGA is always going to be with us. If you have a few questions, you can let us.
03:57But just to end. So we're going forward. We will be able to take in more money and there'll no
04:04longer be doubt because there was always doubt.
04:07I know the people that brought the lawsuit and sleazebags, major sleazebags, but I know them and they're foreign country
04:16centric.
04:18They were sending things into our country and the people representing them knew full well, but they were sending things
04:26into our country and they were beneficial to other countries, but very, very bad for us.
04:33And I stopped it and we'll just keep it going. So we have more of a we have a totally
04:38firm decision now.
04:39And I don't think the court meant it because the court doesn't show great spirit toward our country, in my
04:46opinion, a lot of bad decisions.
04:48But there are usually ways around it. This is something we could have done, as Justice Kavanaugh said, we could
04:55have done this originally, but we're doing it now.
04:57And the numbers could be far greater than the hundreds of billions we've already taken.
