00:05Today we're going to review the inside and outside of the vehicle and talk about it a
00:09little bit.
00:09So let's get inside and start up the review.
00:12It's a red fire colored exterior with a medium parchment colored leather interior.
00:43It's only got 98,212 miles on it.
00:48As you can tell, this is obviously the diesel model Excursion.
00:52It also has four wheel drive, which is electronically controlled with a knob down here.
00:57It's basically fully loaded.
00:59It's got every option you can get on the Excursion then.
01:03So it also has a third row seat back there.
01:08It's got some fake wood known by trucks of this era.
01:14It is a very big truck.
01:20It's got a five speed automatic with lower gear selections.
01:30Let's go take a look on the outside of the vehicle.
01:38As you can tell, the wheels and tires did not come stock with this Excursion.
01:44They're aftermarket American Racing 16's and those are Toyo 33's, all trains.
01:52The back here, you've got your tow hitch, which you can tow a maximum of 11,000 pounds
02:00with.
02:02And you've got some aftermarket LED tail lamps.
02:08You've also got aftermarket banks, turbo back exhaust, which we're going to take a look
02:12at a little bit later on.
02:14You've got running boards.
02:18You've got basically...
02:19Yeah, it's fully loaded.
02:22It's got 8.1 inches of ground clearance.
02:25It's 6.6 feet tall.
02:28And it's 19 feet long.
02:32It's friggin' big.
02:35Speaking of big, the curb weight on this bad boy is 7,725 pounds.
02:45It's 6.5 feet wide.
02:47It's got a payload of 1,800 pounds.
02:53This truck is not for the faint of heart, I can tell you that.
02:59Fuel tank holds 44 gallons.
03:02It's got Dana 50 front axle and a Sterling 10.5 rear axle.
03:09So, I'd say about now we should pop the hood and take a look at the engine.
03:20Let's open up the part of the beast.
03:41It's got a 6 liter turbo diesel V8 power stroke.
03:46Stopped.
03:47It makes 325 horsepower and 550 foot-pounds of torque.
03:52with the exhaust, and it has a Hypertech programmer on it.
03:56It makes around 460 horsepower and 820 foot pounds of torque.
04:04It gets about 16 in the city and 18 on the highway.
04:11It's not bad for diesel tech.
04:12This one's been averaging 14 and a half in both city and highway driving.
04:22So that's the hood.
04:27That's what's under the hood of this.
04:34It also has a solid live axle suspension front and rear.
04:45So let's go back to the interior.
04:48So now that we checked out what's underneath the hood of this beast,
04:51let's hear how the exhaust sounds.
04:53As I mentioned before, it's a Banks Turbo Beck exhaust.
04:58We'll see how it sounds from the inside and then from the out.

05:53It's got a nice turbo whistle sound to it, and at idle it's got a nice low rumble to

05:59Let's take a little look at the interior, you see seats are a little warm, but it does
06:06have 98,000 miles on it, the back seats are relatively good shape compared to the front
06:16seats, and the rear seats folded down for now, but it does have a third row seat.
06:28As I said before, this truck is basically fully loaded, it's got AC, radio, it's pretty
06:42good, and that, association's not okay, one, have a nice little blend, one soft deer field,
06:52very nice and scenic for you, nice to be glad.
06:55So yeah, that's a good one, we'll figure this out, we'll put it into all our...
07:11So yeah, that's that, um, let's check out how the taillights look, uh, in there, lit it
07:20up.
07:23Turning on the hazards.
07:30They're a lot nicer than the stock ones, I can tell you that.
07:33The stock ones are kind of blandish, but these are really nice headlights, tail lights.
07:42Um...
07:44With the Hypertech Programmer and the Banks Exhaust, this thing, stock 0-60, 9.7 seconds,
07:51now, it's maybe 7 flat, maybe in the high 6s, it's pretty quick.
07:57The top speed with the programmer now, with the speed limiter off, is 120, it was about
08:02a hundred stock.
08:04So, it's a very big improvement.
08:08So that's the end of the review for this pretty sweet truck.
