00:00Welcome to the Volkswagen Post Game Report.
00:03Drive bigger.
00:04Here now, Liam McHugh.
00:07They say styles make fights, and tonight this unique Ravens offense went out and put up 37 points on what
00:13was the stingiest defense in the league.
00:15They win by 17.
00:18Patriots rolled into this one perfect, unbeaten.
00:21The Ravens, they simply did not care.
00:24They told anyone who would listen that they had an offense unlike any that the Pats had seen.
00:28They had a quarterback unlike any that the Pats had seen, and Lamar Jackson went out and backed them up.
00:33He ran for two scores, threw for another, and at the end of this game, he had this crowd here
00:37chanting MVP.
00:39Ravens defense did its part as well.
00:41Two huge takeaways, and they returned one for a touchdown.
00:44So the Ravens now 6-2.
00:47The Pats 8-1, and that means that the 49ers, the lone undefeated team, left in the NFL.
00:54Ravens get the win.
00:55We get to give out some game balls, and no big surprise that Lamar Jackson's up there with 163 through
01:01the air, 61 on the ground.
01:03Marshall Yanda, a big part of Baltimore's ground game, 210 rushing yards, over five yards per carry.
01:09And on the defensive side, that touchdown I mentioned, it belonged to Marlon Humphrey.
01:14Humphrey and Jackson standing by with Michelle.
01:18Liam, thank you.
01:19Lamar, this team is pretty excited.
01:20Did you hand the Patriots their first loss of the season?
01:24Talk about that 17-0 spurt that you guys produced in the first quarter.
01:29How did you explode like that?
01:31Oh, you know, we just been working hard, watching a lot of film.
01:34Week in, week out, you know, even on our bye week, you know, we were trying to watch them.
01:38That's a great team, you know, defense and offense.
01:40We just had to keep right out the field and just do what we do.
01:43Mark Ingram running the ball.
01:44You had, you know, Boyle getting his first touchdown catch.
01:48Hollywood running fast.
01:49What about this game plan worked so effectively?
01:52Man, it's just study.
01:53You know, it's film study.
01:55These guys are great.
01:56You know, I know this is not our last time seeing them.
01:58You know, you just got to keep building from here.
02:01Let's talk about that last touchdown you had.
02:04As you're backing into the end zone and Orlando Brown kind of pulls you in,
02:09when did you know you were across the line?
02:10I didn't know until the referee was, and I heard my teammates celebrate.
02:14Could you tell that Orlando was the guy pulling you?
02:16No, I couldn't tell.
02:17I just knew one of the guys was pulling me.
02:19You got through.
02:21Congratulations.
02:21Thank you so much.
02:22All right, let's turn to Marlon Humphrey,
02:24who had the task of staying with Julian Edelman most of the night,
02:27and you did that well.
02:29How?
02:30I really tried to get my hands on him at the line of scrimmage.
02:33You know, I think I've guarded a lot of guys, you know,
02:36but I don't.
02:37Julian Edelman was definitely a task that I'd never really handled before, you know.
02:40Super Bowl MVP is a stat to speak for himself, but, you know,
02:44Wink called us a really good game plan, had a few doubles in there on him,
02:46and we got it done.
02:48And one of the better plays of the game was you scooping up that fumble
02:51and returning it for a touchdown.
02:52Your second time in a row, second game in a row.
02:56Take us through that play.
02:57What did you see?
02:58I was just coming to the ball.
03:00Peanut was able to punch the ball out, and I was able to scoop and score.
03:03When I got in the end zone, you know, Anthony Levine told me God is good,
03:07and I said it all the time.
03:07So, yeah, I've really been around the ball lately,
03:10and it's been working out for me.
03:11You looked like you knew you had nobody that was even close to catching up with you.
03:16Yeah, I've been wondering what I'm going to do if I score,
03:18but I get too excited every time, so I've got to work on that.
03:22Congrats on the win.
03:23All right, thank you.
03:24Liam?
03:24Thanks, Michelle.
03:25Big smile there.
03:26Statement win for the Ravens in tomorrow.
03:29Peter King will break it all down on his Football Morning in American Calm
03:32on NBCSports.com.
03:34Plus, you can catch Florian Sims on BFT Live from 7 to 9 Eastern on NBCSN.
03:39Al and Chris will wrap things up right after this.
03:47Welcome back to the Volkswagen Postgame Report.
03:50Drive bigger.
03:51Here now, Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth.
03:55So, Minnesota goes to Dallas.
03:58Cowboys play tomorrow night trying to stay in front of Philadelphia.
04:01And Minnesota loses today.
04:03Heartbreaker in Kansas City, but everybody in that division lost.
04:06So, everything really beginning to tighten up now, second half of the year.
04:10No question about it.
04:11My favorite matchup in this game is going to be that Dallas Cowboys offensive line
04:14against the Vikings defensive line.
04:17That will be a battle royale along with two tremendous running backs in this game.
04:21So, off we go to Arlington, Texas.
04:23That will be the matchup next Sunday night as the New England Patriots come into Baltimore
04:31tonight.
04:32And the Ravens knocked them off 37 to 20, leading from a start to finish.
04:39Lamar Jackson, a big night.
04:40And the Ravens have now won four in a row.
04:44Until next week, Al Michaels, Chris Collinsworth, Michelle DeFoyer, Fred Gedele, Drew Esikoff,
04:48and the truck, our entire gang here on Sunday Night Football saying goodnight from Baltimore.
