00:00There was a lot of bemoaning of once the Yankees got Grisham, what does that mean for Jason Dominguez, he's
00:06being blocked, etc.
00:08Let's remember, Jason Dominguez was the everyday left fielder for the Yankees last season.
00:13And his at-bats began to go away in the last two months for the most fair market reason possible.
00:22He was outplayed by Trent Grisham.
00:24Grisham played great, and Dominguez continued to struggle.
00:27He's a switch hitter who struggled against lefty pitching as a righty hitter.
00:31And he's a guy who continued, even if he got a little better in left field, it was still below
00:35average.
00:36So to me, these are the Yankees.
00:38If it's the White Sox, if it's the Rockies, it's a few other rebuilding teams, you just put Dominguez in
00:44left field and see what another 500 to 650 plate appearances look like.
00:49But the Yankees got to win, right?
00:50Like the other complaint will be, hey man, you put a guy on the field who can't play, you're the
00:54Yankees.
00:55Jason Dominguez might be Clint Frazier.
00:58It might look really good in certain aspects, certain skills, but it doesn't all work together on the field.
01:04You're the Yankees.
