00:16It's not only the one that got away, it's the one that got away to the Crosstown rival,
00:20which almost never happens if we look at history between the Mets and the Yankees
00:23since the inception, the Mets being a thing, obviously.
00:26So that alone is what they're still clinging on to, added with the fact that Yankees fans
00:32haven't been as satisfied with the status of the organization since Soto left as well.
00:37I mean, that's something that people tend to forget, right?
00:39Think about the run that Soto had with Judge and with the Yankees and how far they were
00:43able to go with a team that obviously still had its fundamental flaws.
00:47They really have not been able to replace Soto in various aspects.
00:51Of course, the blossoming of Ben Rice has been massive for them this season,
00:54so you can make that argument, of course.
00:55But when looking as an overall talent, as someone who you know you can depend on
00:59night in and night out, there's a reason why Soto is getting paid the big bucks.
01:03So this is very much a lopsided affair heading into the weekend
01:06because this is only a spectacle or becoming a thing regarding Soto
01:09because of Yankees fans making it that way.
