00:00We're learning more about Rhode Island shooter Robert Dorgan's possible motive,
00:04the trans killer who took the lives of his ex-wife and son and critically injured several others.
00:09One of his daughters, he reportedly had six children, told local news station WPRI, quote,
00:15I just want to make sure people understand this was one person's vendetta against their family.
00:20We were targeted. This was very specific. It wasn't random. Amanda Wallace Hubbard,
00:26who is Dorgan's daughter from a different relationship, went on to say that she and her
00:29young sons were at the hockey game where this tragedy took place and witnessed the shooting.
00:35She also said something truly chilling, that she locked eyes with her father during his rampage.
00:41Miraculously, she and her children weren't shot. Wallace Hubbard believes the only reason they
00:46are all alive is because of the bravery of a good Samaritan, Michael Black. He jumped into action
00:52in the middle of the chaos and helped stop Dorgan from doing more damage. Now, Black says he tried
00:57to grab the gun physically out of the shooter's hand, but his own hand got caught in the sliding
01:02chamber of the firearm, effectively jamming the weapon. Dorgan was able to push Black off of him,
01:08but by then others rushed in, choking the gunman. Now, Black says at the point they had both fallen
01:14down, he was eye to eye with Dorgan. And that is when the shooter pulled out his second weapon
01:19and took his own life.
